What can I say, I've always loved them and I love how it ended for them. Many thanks to Juliet for English & Korean subtitles Music : • "Lettre à Elise" | Ef...
Yes, their love is twisted and toxic, but you can't deny the devotion and loyalty they have for each other, especially Jaime. His love for her was unconditional. Cersei, considering how self-interested she was, did indeed love Jaime in the only way that she knew how to love someone. Everything they did, they did for their family. Their story was beautiful, sad, poetic and tragic because they always found their way back to each other. Ironic that the truest love story in GoT is also the most immoral and looked down upon. But that's what the show is entailed around.
Rubber Ducky Yeah. I know it’s gonna sound weird, but I hope I’m able to find someone where we we can be just as committed as Cersei and Jaime, minus the toxicity and incest.
@@maitikaHan Great piece. Jaime and Cersei are the only thing that is right with GoT, in spite of how twisted that may sound. If it's not too much, can you give me the name of the song? It's such a beautiful melody.
I loved their ending! For the longest time, Jaime seemed like a hostage to Cersei. She was giving him orders, which he obeyed. Her lack of morality was mirrored by him. She was the only woman he ever made love to. Then, he openly disregarded her will and went to fight against the dead. He apologized to Bran. He made love to Brienne. While some people make their peace with this ending by seeing his comeback as some sort of poison that Jaime never got out of his system, I (possibly, madly) see him coming back as him finally making a free choice. He knew by then what his options were. And still the option of never seeing Cersei again was ultimately the most unbearable.
Not madly at all. I absolutely agree with you. If he had a thousand more times to make a choice between staying in Winterfell and going back to Cersei he would've made the same choice every time. Because it seemed to me it was obvious from the start they just belong together and neither could ever truly let go the other. Like Jaime said:"Only us. Nothing else matters". For me, they are the most tragic and powerful pair in the whole series and no one else could even try to match them.
Jaime was no hostage, he caused all the mayhem to break out through his recklessness which she points out when he acts stupidly. They had a major disagreement, yet people who think he could put behind him over 40years he shared with her, 3 kids and another on the way, he had made sure he was by her side when she gave birth, These people have never understood him. He was one side of the same coin. Despite all their faults, despite their love is against nature one cannot deny their devotion to each other. Of all characters and couples in GOT they are the ones that standout.
I disagree that he was a hostage, at least at the very start she seemed more levelled headed than he was. Jaime was quite arrogant. His actions left her alone defending herself and kids in a very hostile environment. He goes to the north because he realizes the danger, but also to give her and the baby a chance to survive. Their love is considered immoral, but in GOT whatever fans say and their shipping this or that couple, their love is the strongest/truest one and the only one that really feels real. Their last scenes in the show are so powerful, with Cersei who never sheds a tear, except for her children, breaks down when she sees him and they way they look at each others eyes despite their world is falling on them.
This is a thing of beauty! I share your love for them, and I love that they left the world the same way they came into the world-together, holding each other. It was literally the one thing I wanted for them, to be together when they died.
"You always knew exactly what she was. And you loved her anyway." Say it a bit louder for all the people who continue to claim poor little Jaime was manipulated by Cersei's evil vajayjay.
Yeah, why did they die :(((((( They were my favourite characters in Got. They relationship was beautiful and unique. I wanted this to end better for them...
@@oliwiaweronikatanska3331 Everyone says that cersei deserved worst but they contain deanerys as a hero who killed and burned innocent people even more than cersei. the most of the people who killed by cersei deserved that like that dornish woman or the priests. she loved her childrens and her love with jamie was so pure. wish they could run and have a happy life together!
PERFECTION! While everyone else is raging about this final season, I’m completely satisfied with how they ended their story. I never expected it to be a happy one but this was as close as I could’ve hoped for. Amazing display of parallels showing us the only possible way for the Lannister twins to go down; together. Thank you for sharing your work!
This is probably the best representation of love. Real love. We all think love is magic and beautiful, but to me it’s hard and brutal, we do not choose love, love chooses us and we do everything for it. To keep it, to live it, to feel it. I loved them. I miss them very much. But it was the best end for them ❤️
OH MY GOD this is the best! The parallels with what they did to be with each other was beautiful! Fuck people who say Jaime was manipulated to fall and stay in love with Cersei for his entire life. They love each other for who they are.
Great editing! :) And I love Cersei and Jaime together... I don't care about the eww-factor of them being siblings! Cersei and Jaime don't care about anything nor anyone except each other, and that is CRAZY ROMANTIC! :)
Everyone says that cersei deserved worst but they contain deanerys as a hero who killed and burned innocent people even more than cersei. the most of the people who killed by cersei deserved that like that dornish woman or the priests. she loved her childrens and her love with jamie was so pure. wish they could run and have a happy life together!
Honestly, she's the best mother I could ask for in the Game of Thrones universe - powerful, uncompromising, loves her family. I feel like if their world wasn't so brutal, she would make an excellent mother and leader, but then again, we don't say "if" this or "if" that. In any case, her and Jaime complement each other well. It's true that Jaime is not a "better man". I think the uncontrollable desire violence runs in their family. Tyrion has it too. They all do. Cunning and violent. That's the lannisters for ya.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A MASTERPIECE. Perfectly captures jaime and cersei's twisted love for each other. I was honestly hurt for brienne and was rooting for them as well, but looking back, there were lots of proofs that his love for cersei is way much deeper and stronger that he would over and over again find himself sliding back to her no matter what. It had been shown from the beginning and nobody could deny that. I think the love jaime had for brienne was pure and genuine but isn't enough to let cersei die on her own. Whatever they do, they just keep finding their ways back to each other. They came into this world together, they belong together.
Great piece. Jaime and Cersei are the only thing that is right with GoT, in spite of how twisted that may sound. Please, can you give me name of the song? It's such a beautiful melody.
"You always knew exactly what she was, and you loved her anyways" hits so hard. We do not choose whom we love, and knowing that someone is a bad person doesn't stop us from loving them
This is just magnificent. I'm literally in tears right now, for the first time since the show has ended. Such an epic love story, and you showed it really well. Great music choice and beautiful editing, I'm glad that I found your work.
Jaime is like a deeper representation of myself: -not caring to show people my good deeds -being a victim of a toxic relationship -always (ALWAYS) being there for the people i love & care about no matter what they did to me in the past -wondering in the world to learn & try new things about love respect and duty -first and foremost put the family as the most important thing in the world
The greatest love story in GoT was the one that defied all social and moral standards. That should never be, yet Their love was the truest, tragically beautiful but felt real. The actors did an awesome job, especially in the last scenes, with their world falling around them, the adoring way they looked in each other's eyes despite the events surrounding them. Despite what shippers of this or that couple, This was the love story that defined GoT
cersei is my favorite character, doomed from the start, but she made herself happy with her twin, and had three kids, one bad, and two good, but she loved all dearly, and so did tyrion,
I have to be honest - I always hated their relationship - Cersei always loved herself so much more than him, she always looked down on him, she brought out the worst in him. And in the books especially she is so petty and so bad to him. And I am very disappointed Jaime went back to her, just to die with her. They made their last scenes beautiful, I can't deny that. And your video is very good
Part of the appeal of Jaime and Brienne was that their relationship wasn’t really a relationship built on sexual attraction, but rather a respect that the two had for one another. And tbh, when the show tried to make it more then that, it kinda turned me off.
