Really disappointing they made it clear in earlier seasons that he killed the Mad King to spare the innocent lives of King’s Landing, and in S4E5 he says he never cared much for the innocents. Smh. So inconsistent.
im dead, that transition from bran falling off the tower into jaime falling into the bear pit "the things we do for love" actual ART!!! I have to believe he did that to, in his own messed up way, protect her and keep her away, I HAVE TO BELIEVE IT
Jaime learns about. Cersei from Brienne and Sansa...yet he still sleeps with Brienne again before leaving. To me, I feel that was a big hint that Jaime is not leaving out of being in love with Cersei still, but because he wants to take her down. Jaime does, after all, play a part in why Cersei has the power she does now. But Jaime isn't the fighter he used to be, so it's very likely he thinks he's on a suicide mission. He wanted to spend a final passionate night with Brienne before riding off toward his possible death, but Brienne was awake and tried to stop him. So he did the only thing he thought he could do; discourage her from following by insisting he's just as bad as Cersei and she shouldn't be bothered with someone like him. He loves Brienne, of that I have no doubt, but he doesn't believe he deserves her and he doesn't believe he's coming out of this alive, so he's trying to give her an out by making himself as unappealing as possible.
Garden Rose I love this so much! I thought the same thing, like why did he sleep with her again if he was going back to Cersei. Also, when he’s getting ready to leave, he tells Brienne “would you back down from a fight?” He knows she wouldn’t so he had to leave her heartbroken so she wouldn’t follow. I want to believe he’s going to kill Cersei. Also, this is somewhat a spoiler...I watched and interview with Gwen and Nik and they were talking about spinoffs and Gwen said she’d like to see the show come back and it’s 20 years later and she and Nik would have jobs again. He looked at her and clear as day whispered “that was a spoiler”. If either of them die, then how would they have jobs if they ever did do a spin-off? I’m hopeful!

I needed to stop watching after like 10 sec because I started to CRY SO MUCH. I believe he said that to her because he wanted to go to kings landing to kill cersei. and he didn't want brienne to follow him. he wanted to protect her. this is what I WILL BELIEVE. BECAUSE THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. he loves her, we know that. THEY CAN NOT END THIS WAY. i will finish watching video now.
I feel like his weirwood dream is ALMOST complete... and unfortunately, I'm afraid, he is going to die. I ALSO believe that him and brienne's... interlude, is a Chekhov's gun- she's going to be preggers. Oh, and I had always felt that SOMEHOW, she and Sansa were going to become Cersei's prisoners via GC. How? WHO is at Winterfell? The wildlings left, most of the Northern soldiers marched south with Jon, the rest of the Dothraki and the Unsullied were on those boats... I won't be surprised if we dont see her or Sansa again until ep6. But that is my interpretation of his dream.
Prophecies are complicated. I think he is the sibling that 'kills' Cersei, but killing doesn't mean leave her dead but drain her of her power by revealing that she lost him to Brienne. This might make her weak enough to concentrate on the war at hand and thus losing it.
Exactly. Bran said to Theon "You are a good man", then Theon attacked the Night King. Perhaps we see a repetition here with Jaime towards Cercei. _It was Foreshadowed_ _Prophecy Fulfilled_

No the Story ends by Jamie Killin euron and he will be half dead by then. John and Danny fight each other in the end as Danny would go mad by killing everyone in Kings landing. John stabs Danny and that's how show ends. Enjoy!

I just don't stop thinking about these two after this episode.They can't end like this,they have an amazing history together.I don't want Brienne to think Jaime just leaved her to comeback to Cersei
I just saw the new episode and this is crazy...I can't even. I really want to believe that he loves Brienne and that he just wanted to protect her by leaving her and telling her to stay.
I honestly think if Jaime is actually going back to Cersei to try to save her his redemption arc is a waste. It's so obvious he loves Brienne, so it's so out of character for him. I'm hoping there's a bigger picture to this, and it's not just a case of bad writting.
What if Bronn goes looking for Jaime and Tyrion and discovers they aren't there? What of he decides to take Brienne, drugs her or gives her a concussion, (because he underestimates Sansa) and takes her to Cercei? Killing Sansa would not allow her to "teach Jaime a lesson," but killing Brienne will. And Bronn gets his revenge because the brothers didnt pay him.

@@Akva77 OMG, I just mentioned this in another comment. I was going by Jaime's Weirwood dream. In it there is a line where he says she has a thick waist and that she has more of a women's shape. So far, most of the weirwood dream has happened.
such a good job at editing! and the song is amazing! i love how jaime has developed his character. i feel like he is real..he has always been real. but he didn't have good company so he was affected by cersei's madness. sometimes i was suspicious about him...i'm not gonna lie. i thought that he slept with brienne because he just wanted to entertain himself but he did not. he is so authentic....he is my favourite character in the series...also this love between brienne and jaime ...this love has grown in respect and trust! i hope they will be awarded for their loyalty to each other...they deserve it!

Such a beautiful video! This was the couple i cheered the most for and for them to give and take away was cruel. I really think Jamie breaking her heart was to protector her. He has to be the one to kill Cersei and if he didn't end it this way, hurting her, Brienne would of followed him and he wants her safe in Winterfell cause he truly loves her. ... my fangirl theory but a girl can try to find reasoning in the pain.
I agree %100. You can tell he didn't want to say those things to brienne but he had to so she wouldn't follow him. He knows if cersie finds out about them, she will likely kill Brienne in the most horrible way, he's trying to protect brienne

Absolutely incredible video. Beautiful editing. You've single handedly shown with this video how much a balls up DD made with this season. The most amazing relationship in the whole series killed due to rushing to finish. I would have loved Jaime to stay with Brienne but realistically it wasn't to happen. But the way DD rushed it in episode 4 was disgraceful... at least do their storyline the justice of his leaving making so sense and not just seeming like a complete character annihilation.
I'm so angry, they deserve a better writing. I understand that he has to end this, that he has to stop Cersei, and I do not think he's will go back to her to stay with her, but to end it. But doing in this way with Brienne, and tear her heart like that. That shit hurt.
i think this writing its perfect for them, it would be cheesy af if they stay at winterfell to be happy forever, i mean, winterfell is the last place jaime would want to stay, its when all the shit started and he was a big part of it, and he hate that place for that, look at the 1st episode of this season when jaime arrives at winterfell before he saw bran, he has that lannister smirk seing the place like "ugh here we go again in this fking cold place, i couldnt live here even if they pay me"
It always breaks my heart when Brienne talks about being mocked, she’s such a beautiful person, perhaps one of the few true noble people left and Jaime’s redemption arc is so much brienne’s influence on him. I believe in his heart he loves Brienne but I think there is a part of him that Cersei still has her claws into and he thinks he can’t fight it
Two of the show's strongest women - Brienne & Dany begged to the men they love in episode 4 (it was really sad to watch) & both didn't listen, which will ruin everything good they had.
I think Jaime left to go kill Cersei not because he wanted to intentionally hurt Brienne!! He pointed out all the things he did for Cersei which made him seem like a bad man, because of Cersei he was and I think now he knows that too. She's toxic and he can't save her, and I think he knows that now too. Great video btw, I'm surprised it got any dislikes. Fingers crossed that Jaime and Brienne make it out alive out of all of this!!? 🤞
