This glitch is patched now sadly.

The entire trilogy and jak x were all loaded with really terrible bugs and glitches along with pretty terrible frame rate dips all over the place.

26:50 I feel like we might be looking at part of the game's memory here, which somehow seems to get represented visually on-screen as the data values are interpreted as colour values. Is this glitch caused by the sprite table getting overwritten by other game data, or does the game think it's reading from the sprite table while it is really reading something else?

I have a question. If I got a physical copy of this game could I keep it from updating? Like once it downloads the base game could I pause the updates, or would the update download be a part of the game downloading onto your ps4.

Just as a helpful tip, changing your settings so that your screen is in greyscale (black and white) can decrease eye strain with this.... craziness

At the time this was the world record for PS4 any% although ps2 any% was still faster.

If I could still do this glitch on ps4 I would do any% with fire canyon skip but sadly I don't think it will ever happen. Also if you check some of my more recent uploads though you can see that the ps2 version can still get interesting texture corruptions for runs just not to the extent of the ps4's.
