You don’t understand how inspiring your music is to me. First the majesty that is Isometric and now this. I revise to your songs. I sleep to your songs. Whether it’s this or Periphery I’m listening to, you never fail to amaze and inspire me
Would love to see what vst's and a general "rig rundown" of what he uses for his electronic music, loving the mixture of traditional strings/piano with synths and ambient guitars
"Hey man. Just wondering, what did you use to produce “The Need For Immediacy. Great stuff." "Thanks! I used alchemy, rapture, and massive. All VST plugins. -J." 29/01/2011 3:21 PM I'm guessing his rig has changed a little since 2011 but that's an idea of what he uses.
I love this album!! :D I actually liked the original snare better for Lemon Lime, it really made the space sound huge imho. But seriously, every one of your songs is a masterpiece, Jake. Thank you so much for creating music
This may have already been asked, but is Zu a reference to the final fantasy monster? In FFX it’s a giant black bird but I’m sure it’s prevalent in the others too.
Looks like the art to this EP is a picture of a fenced in area with a gate and part chainlink fence outside. Might this be the entrance to your house as opposed to a picture you took of your living room for Isometric?
These are awesome, Jake. Keep up the great work! We become bigger fans with each release. I routinely have Isometric looping while I'm at work - this adds to my concentration music! I love it!
