His voice is so weird but it suits him so well, i really don’t know how to describe it? Not the bad kind of weird, just the peculiar kind, so raw!! Discovered him days ago, his sound it’s truly around..

I enjoy his own (original_ songs, but I like his other covers, too. the one of Don Gibson's that he does is one of my favorites: "I Can't Stop Loving You." I sing it on RU-vid. I actually saw this kid in Manchester walking to Piccadilly station with his guitar on his back listening to his iPod. Nobody knew who he was at the time. He seems like a down to earth kid.
I'm over the moon. This is the kind of performance I love the most. Bare, pared down to just a guitar and voice. No distractions. His voice is sublime.
Watching this in 2020 after recently seeing Jake in Cardiff. He was brilliant, but watching this video now I can’t help but feel like he never quite made it as far as he could? Raw talent here is undeniable and I would’ve watched this in 2013 and thought he was destined to be the next worlds biggest thing...
I found this this artist for the first time a couple of days ago, and I have to say I am really loving his music. This kid has got some serious talent. I simply can't understand why there are so many people ripping on him. I tell you, he's got REAL talent, not like half of the crap out there today. People need to give credit where credit is due!!
Just found this singer, after listening to the oldie, "Oh Susie Darlin" from 1958. It is now 2020. I guess Jake Bugg is well into his 20's by now, 25 or so. He is certainly a good songwriter and singer...wow.

He's fantastic, isn't He? I discovered him 2 years ago and went to his solo acoustic performance in Milan. Then I decided to play guitar again after many years just for playing and singing his songs, and I did. I'm 65. I apologize for my terrible english.
saw him live yesterday and I still have no words for it.. just the atmosphere he creates is so special and beautiful.. definitely gonna see him live again!!
This guy has so much talent. One of the very few newer (younger) artists that I've really enjoyed. He has a sound unique to him. In the past 20 years he's only one of two new musicians who really is a sensational songwriter and performer.
Jake Bugg is truly amazing, such a real look at the world through his eyes, his music is so gorgeous, yet rough. I'd give anything to hear him do a Neutral Milk Hotel song.

Even a 60s grandma can appreciate this kid. His sad songs are from the heart with some achingly honest and simple lyrics (eg. 'Broken'). Reminds me of N.Young & J.Taylor. Love his quirky/jumpy 'Lightning Bolt'. Hope this young, unpolished talent is around a long time so we can watch him mature into a fine artist.
I've enjoyed many of the KEXP live performances on RU-vid. I keep coming back to this one because it so enjoyable. The interview is interesting, the audio quality is outstanding and I wish Jake Bugg great success. Great lyrics and sound. Appreciate it.

I think he's brilliant, and so does the majority of people on here, so stop spreading your negative energy here and let people like whatever they want to like. I understand you seem to think Jake is talented, but yet I see you have commented on 4-5 comments claiming he is "wasting his talent". In fact you, ma'am, are wasting your TIME on trying to convince people that he is copying others. It's called INSPIRATION. Deal with it.
I saw him tonight opening for the black keys and he has to have been the best part of the entire show. I was just in love. I bought his CD and a shirt, this guy is a tremendous performer
