I'm nearing 60 and I've been playing his songs all week, this boy is like Bob Dylan, Buddy Holly and Neil Young all rolled into one, such a treat and a rest from all that auto tuned rubbish.
Can't get enough of this lad; he's probably the first artist of the last 5-10 years that I haven't been able to get enough of. I can't wait for an album release, fantastic! Music has needed someone like this for too long.
He is flamin amazing! Mature songwriting beyond his years...and he can play...and he can sing...he can sing beautifully..oh the relief to see REAL MUSIC from new young talent finally coming back.
I've been trying to learn the song something wrong's pattern strumming from various videos but couldn't find any. Can't believe I finally stumbled upon this video where Jake himself showed the strumming pattern.

I'm the wrong side of sixty so some of you might prefer to stop reading now. I hope what I'm about to say doesn't act as the kiss of death to his career and turn into a bad case of "commentator's mouth" ... but I think this lad is a quite outstanding talent. Exciting songs, enjoyable guitar playing (which reminds me of Paul Simon in many ways) and a voice full of character. I haven't been so entranced by a new talent for many years. Just wonderful...
I don't know but there's something about this guy that reminds me a lot of Charlie from the perks of Being a wallflower . Maybe it's because I always pictured Charlie looking like him...
This guy is such a very talented singer songwriter and great voice seen him in Bristol last month and he was brilliant al ages there from 16 right up to 80 .
i have fallen in love with 'something wrong'. it's a stroke of genius. am playing it in an ENDLESS loop! did he write that alone? or did he write it with someone else? or is he covering someone else? does anyone know? i tried googling it but am none the wise. i would be really in awe if he did; i think it sounds like a timeless classic like the beatle's yesterday. i'm mesmerised by it.

Seen him on the Noel G. concert in ''Doozle-Dorf'' and man, this boy is amazing. And he is gonna make it. I hope so, because then, my friends of my generation, there is actually some music we can be proud of and tell our kids about.
