Lex Fridman brought John Danaher and they had an hour long talk about stuff like this haha. Danaher's answer was that the gorilla is a vegetarian that mainly have that impressive build for show... while predators like bears, tigers and lions actually hunt, kill and fight for a living. It's probably a safer bet to go with the gorilla if you think of it that way, but then again, it could very easily rip your face off if it was set on hurting you.

@@jessemitchell9740Yeah, Conor did fucking phenomenal for an athlete’s first crack at it, especially for such a big role. My only complaint about the movie is the over reliance on VFX during some of the fight scenes, especially post malone’s. Overall was a pretty dope movie.
