Jake is one of the finest, most versatile actors around. He completely transforms, disappearing into his characters, every single time. Donnie Darko, Brokeback Mountain, Prisoners, Nightcrawler, Southpaw, Stronger, Nocturnal Animals..etc. So excited for his return to Broadway! Othello will be incredible. And Roadhouse looks like so much fun... Great interview, as always 😊❤

I watched the video that his Physical Trainer put out about him on Men's Health, and Jake is massively underplaying the time & effort it took to get into that shape. That's a humble guy right there! Awesome job

@@caderabideau6728 no. Jake has always been athletic and in excellent shape. He worked with the best trainers and boxers for months prior to Southpaw. Then he did even more intense workouts for months and training with MMA trainers for Roadhouse.

So it would be similar to that for Roadhouse, I know he has multiple trainers, did all kinds of cross training, wrestling ...it's natural.

Look at how huge that suit is around Jake's writs and it's still tight around his muscles, he got HUGE for Roadhouse I can't believe it! Roadhoouse is sooooo good the fight scenes are best I've seen! I'm obsessed with how it was shot. Camera work and choreography is out of this world

Love Jake, met him once such a great down to earth guy! Great his also doing theatre again, I remember when hearing/seeing when he did: Sunday in the Park with George on Broadway! Then he came over to London to the revival in the West End and was n TV, Radio, Mags, Social Media talking about it as you know! Then the production was scheduled to transfer to the West End at the Savoy Theatre in 2021, after a delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, with Annaleigh Ashford and directed by Lapine. The production was again delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic with no new date given, and as of the end of 2023 has not yet happened or been rescheduled. So I do hope he does that afterwards 🙏🏻

I've seen some very negative reviews on IMDB for this movie. I don't know why people are complaining and giving it such low rates. I liked the movie very much!! The only thing I didn't like that much was Connor McGregor himself, but I may be biased because I've never liked him much, but I don't really know him so I wish him the best, if he continues on movies I hope he improves his acting. Jake Gyllenhaal is awesome, I'm a fan. Also, nice touch on Portuguese actors, Joaquim de Almeida playing the sheriff and Daniela Melchior as his daughter ❤.

The first thing I thought when I saw McGregor was in the trailer was of Grace Jones in Conan the Barbarian. Supposedly the stuntmen in that movie complained that she was making the fighting too realistic by landing real blows.

Enemy is a MASSIVELY Underrated Stellar Suspense/Thriller; behind Blade Runner 2049 and maybe possibly Arrival - Denis at his thus far Best. A *BEAST* of a Jump Scare though at films end, so if going into the film cold turkey -- Buckle Up. Okja, likewise; is an Incredible Amazing film. Thus far one of Jakes Two Best Performances/Films to date. Bottled Ecclectic Lightning at some of it's Finest. 🎨 (24/7)
