Jake Weary was my fav on " Animal Kingdom "!! I really miss that show! I'm still hoping they'll continue with the story.. so unfair to just leave us hanging! ( I like him better with long hair, too!)
What is there to continue, though? They’re all dead except for J. Unless they create a completely new story that doesn’t have a true story behind it, where J creates his own crime family. I doubt that would happen, though. Since he wanted out, and the family doesn’t trust outsiders

He wears the wig only in the first episode of the third season (because he cut his hair between the second and third), in all the others are his real hair 😉
They made him grow his hair for the role , then he cut it after season 2 against orders so then they put a wig ( a really expensive one) on for season 3 but it got lost in the surf 🏄 scenes filming then in season 4 it starts to grow back.
