His mother had 4 kids by 4 different men. Sadly I'm not surprised. Jalen was born in the 70s. In the 70s women were being conditioned to be the single mothers and Whores that they are today . And his NBA father having 11 kids doesn't surprise me either. Women have always practiced hypergamy. But Tariq Nasheed made a video tilted "Are people finally fed up with the single mother mentality". It's on RU-vid, and he breaks down the why and solution for the problem. ##We Got To Do Better.

Jim Jones it’s more to do with a lack of contraception and sexual education that was happening in the 70’s combined with a far more liberal approach to sex than in previous generations

Jalen actually has things to say, compared to a lot of these "celebrities" and inbred rappers unable to construct a proper sentence, sitting there like they're being questioned for an investigation. I have never watched a whole entire interview on the BC before now! Jalen is the IT brotha! I was spellbound listening to this brotha articulating his views on every question thrown at him with the suave eloquence and professionalism that have characterized him ever since he hit the spotlight! I hung onto every word he said! This brotha has my utmost respect! His laid back cool and confident persona carry right through the whole entire interview! Didn't want it to end! We need more role models, positive examples like him!

Easily one of the best interviews that the Breakfast Club has had. I have been a fan of Jalen for a while, even though he was an enemy from the sports perspective because of me being a Lakers fan. The dude is smart and very well articulated. I hope they bring him back on again soon.

I will ALWAYS be a BIG TIME JALEN ROSE FAN. When I was In 6th grade, the Fab 5 took over the country and everyone started wearing baggy shorts and black socks. All the 6th grade boys in LA started wearing baggy shorts and black socks. 25 years later, I ran into Jalen Rose on Sunset Blvd. when I was helping RU-vid Star Kevjumba film a video with him (Shout out to Richard Frias), and I told Jalen what a big fan I was and he GAVE me a GOLD MICHIGAN JERSEY and Autographed it to me. One of my favorite Sports Athlete moments of all time. He wrote "DREAM BIG" Ain't that the truth. Dream Big Everyone.

Jalen speaks well. I enjoy watching him now on tv. To see his progression from the fab 5 days to who he is now, owner of a free public charter in Chicago, his leadership academy, and hearing the wisdom he drops about his life and times in the NBA. He's a class act and a real nigga role model whichis much needed in our society
