Hey Patrons! Here is your Awesome Practice Session!
/ 63501581
Alright! This is a 25 minute bonus Practice Session! It consists of 4 sections: Warm Up,
Slow Fills, Fast Fills and Mixing Scales. Each section is watermarked for faster navigation.
I really hope you enjoy!!! Grab a backing track to you favorite Jam Blues and try spicing it up with this idea. It really enhanced my playing and I hope it does yours.
So, it is no secret that I love Jam Bands. Every Jam Band I know has some sort of Bluesy Song they play, and the lead guitarists always has a fast, flowing, addictive style that makes me always want more. After studying what they were doing, I realized, it is more about the placement of the rhythm than the notes at some very specific points. If you like this video and jam, then check out Possum by Phish. Any live version will do, you can hear Trey do this all the time.
Curious about my Patreon? Why do my Patrons Love it? It's different, It's great, and I know you'll love it too! Hundreds of Practice Sessions Waiting Just For You! Watch this video for more info: • Patreon Welcome

Thanks Stich! I'm a self taught Lap Steel player, on my journey to proficiency, currently in an intermediate stage. I play various tunings and I'm working hard to support my role of mostly lead in a blues band. Your lessons are so helpful to me especially when I strive to make my solos interesting. I think in intervals and spend lots of time "translating" when your guitar focused instructions understandably describe string and fret locations. Your energy and overall mindset reaches me and I just want to let you know, how I appreciate you.

@@jamesdinnel9828 the universe works in those ways you probably deserve that instrument an definitely appreciated it more than alot of ppl That can afford those kinda priced investments. Your definitely right about its not what u play on but what u play but when u can play an you get a high quality instrument it does make a difference 💯. I had when I was younger guitar's that were better than my ability I will say that they helped my playing or atleast creative side but nowadays I kinda like playing low end instrument its this odd thing I do but then I grab my babe an notice my playing improved alot from using low quality stuff cause you gotta really work to make it sound good. Idk just this thing I noticed about myself . Anyway keep on jamming music has done more for me in life "not financially" but in ever other aspect that truly matters than just about anything else. Music is such a amazing powerful thing

And then you realize that there were people out there who worked that stuff out on their own. That's why they are gods and we are mere mortals trying to get by on guitar. Great easy tip! "rhythm" change is a major part of "feel" as is simple things like sliding into and off a beginning or ending note instead of "typing" - otherwise we'd all sound like a quantized TR-808 Bot. 🎸

Ive been really liking your videos.... Ive been playing the better part of 35 years or so.. I can do all the fancy stuff from Randy Rhoads and EVH,,, love 80's hard rock and meta.... But when it comes to improvising,, I was just never that good.. I mean,,, Im ok,,, and to the untrained ear it sounds great,,, but to me,, It sounds like a cat being flushed down a toilet.. I want to take my improvising to the next level and these are some really great tips.. trying to hold that suspense and letting the tension build to the resolution is not as easy as it looks especially when you have a crowd staring at you.. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos..

All non bias studies show zero correlation between vitamin C intake and resistance to a common cold. You're probably doing something else that to reduce the instances..... Less contact with others via a different job.... more hand washing, better sleep, more balanced diet, etc ....... But, it's very very very unlikely that it's a vitamin C supplement.

I love the Jazz trick of displacement. Gives you a lost in noteland sound. IE if you have |E7 | E7 | E7 | E7| A7 | Play over it as if it's | E7 |E7 | E7 | A7 | A7 |. It works and is rather disorienting, NOTE don't do this unless your band is hip to it!!!!
