Absolutely beautiful cake! I remember as a young child, my great Aunt moved ALL the way to Cali from TN! Each yr when she came home for a visit, the VERY first thing we ALL requested her to cook was a jam cake! She made layer after layer stacked on top of each other with blackberry jam n between! Then that special topping u showed on top! Ty for this recipe and especially for the memories!!
