It’s a shame this movie diverted from the books in several points including the ending. Most of the actors nailed their roles just wish it had stayed closer to the source material because the books are insanely good.
its a shame they reamed MOLLY into barkley for this.. that dog was a prt of 3 books. I wish they would do this book is Fullof spiders sequel for reall- ppl don tunderstand this book is a mix of this plus resident evil and DOOM packed into one.

Hey I just want to say thank you for posting this. Truly. I love this book, movie, and scene so much. So thought provoking as I’ve had a thunder dream and the human mind has always Interested me. Also the other video of this up sucks lol.
The brain retroactively makes things up all the time. Every think about a movie, then walk into a room and the movie's there? You weren't thinking about it beforehand, your brain fabricated the short-term memories for the sake of consistency.
The brain rationalizes, a lot, all the time. You might not even experience a real narrative when dreaming, only ideas and impressions and emotions. When you wake up and try to remember it, your brain strings those into a semi coherent story on the fly. In other words: the thunder causes your waking brain to make up the dynamite dream, not the other way around.
Your brain processes things so fucking fast. You can have an hour long dream in a single minute and vice versa. Your brain hears the lightning and thunder first, then created a dream that lead up to that noise in an instant, it seeming much longer to you.
one of those pieces of media that grows with ya. i used to love this scene a lot and still do but time is way closer to a gardenhose or donut that people think. but then again i guess a bunch of unending gardenhoses *is* an ocean
As far as adaptations/translations go it wasn't too bad. Sure there's " wishlist" stuff but that's by the by. Don Cascarlli is an underrated Director. Shame him and J.R. Lansdale couldn't work out thier creative difference with The Drive-In movie adapatation ( which btw would only do justice as a tv series)

So is he supposed to be a spirit of Bob Marley the singer lol did the movie mean foe it to be bob or are we just gonna have to assume and wonder., interesting name choice , especially considering Bob was faithful Rastafarian ....he took no parts that im.awear if in any type of anciant magcic from the first gods to be worshipped in Africa , and surprised me when i seen it was not the anunaki ..its an interesting thing to research.
