I wonder if most of his members do not like reading. In turn they certainly do not read the Bible. Jamal Bryant is obviously not a "born again" believer. A college degree do not qualify anyone to preach the gospel of Jesus christ. The holy spirit seals the man or woman of God to carry the mantel God gives them.
I remember an aquaintence putting me on to him about 15 years ago. I'm not Christian, but I felt that he sure knew how to preach! (Not that I cared about his personal life)......but what he was capable of doing while on that I pulpit, was more interesting than what I heard from any pastor in the past. I haven't listened to him since 2009/2010, but it doesn't seem like he is explosive as he once was.
can we stop using the term "church" for many of these places? It's not only a mockery but it is unfair to expect true believers to hunt down a real Church when most of them seem to be far from one.

I mean, it really doesn't matter what word folk use. If someone is truly a believer of anything, they will use their discerning spirit to guide them. Most things don't require much energy or involvement in order to see it or whatever person for what it is. As anyone can tell you whatever they desire......till they're blue in the face. It is you that have to use your senses to navigate through their words/choice words, etc.

It's very important that church leaders carry themselves in a Christ like manner in how we dress in addition to our conversation etc... The only person that should see the intimate parts of a man or woman's body is their spouse in marriage, there are several video testimonials that confirm people who dress inappropriate will end up in hell if no repentance. I never knew that not having children disqualified someone from being a youth minister. That’s crazy work, sir. I had two youth ministers growing up about 15 years ago as a 15 yr old. One had children, the other did not - this did not pose a problem as it is really a non-factor as long as you’re building healthy relationships with the youth.
I would be shocked about this if the Bible didnt already warn us about this type of behavior in the church in Jesus' letters to the churches in Revelation.
I would say most ministers in Black churches are in those. I was once a member of an AME church, a mega one, and both the pastor and his wife are in those. They also love money, and are very political. So glad I left that place… my finances got better and I got delivered from spiritual bondage. I feel bad for the lost sheep in that place.
Many of my friends and acquaintances are in ministry and pledged long ago. I don’t believe there is anything within that which encourages worship of anything or anyone. There are some people who did not have an identity until pledging and that is a problem, but I have looked at quite a bit of history for sororities and it is not based in anything demonic. Some of the practices as far as the pledging process is concerned can be a problem and has been for certain chapters.

Let me say first, praise God for you and your husband for being a part of the household of faith (Galatians 6:10). Corey has dealt with this topic of women pastors thoroughly from the scriptures. I suggest that you and your husband go to his channel and type in " Can Women be Pastors"? I would just say, you and your husband will be blessed after listening to the word. However, it is very important to try not to approach the text with presumptions, which we all do. Pray this helps.
You're right, she is cute, and if she's not married, Jamal won't last through the Forth of July before temptation overtakes him.
