Yep, the thing I love about Charles's songs is the (sometimes very unusual) chord progressions. I dunno, but I strongly suspect that his song-writing starts with finding chords that nobody has put together in quite the same way before but immediately make you wonder why not.

@@ianwebb3496 Well this song uses the most common progression ever for any pop song I -vi-IV-V in E major hahaha it is the structure and dynamics which makes it very unique not its harmony
I went to one of his concerts and I must tell you he is a complete showman and has a wide range of songs. People associate him with slow, romantic songs but he has such an energetic funny presence. He swopped us away.
James is the man great singer songwriter he doesn't get the respect that he deserves back to bedleham was a remarkable cd every song on that album was good
Ooh, ooh With your feet in the air and your head on the ground Try this trick and spin it, yeah Your head will collapse and there's nothing in it So you'll ask yourself Where is my mind? Where is my mind? Where is my mind? Way out in the water See it swimmin' Well I was swimmin' in the Carribean Animals were hiding behind the rocks Except the little fish And they told me I should ask myself Where is my mind? Where is my mind? Where is my mind? Way out in the water See it swimmin'? With your feet in the air and your head on the ground Try this trick and spin it, yeah Your head will collapse and there's nothing in it So you'll ask yourself Where is my mind? Where is my mind? Where is my mind? Way out in the water See it swimmin'? Ooh Ooh Ooh Ooh

"I was a juicer, you know, using steroids? Diabanol and Winstrol... ohh, they use that on race horses for Christ sakes. And now I'm bankrupt, I'm divorced, my two grown kids - won't even return my phone calls." - Robert Paulson
