MJs people spoke to James Brown people beforehand that he didn't want to be called up onto the stage...that's why initially he was reluctant but he did anyway as he loves JB. And as always he never wanted to overshadow anyone so he didn't dance for too long. Legends

James, Prince, and Michael. Mainly because I got to see James Brown preform at a small club in DC in college and he made you feel like you were the only one in the room.

Prince’s stepdad took him to a James Brown show when he was 10 years old, and he put him on stage with James, and Prince danced up there until security made him get down. 🥰 You should react to the music video for Prince’s song Musicology. He kind of recreates that memory in the music video with a kid that’s supposed to represent him.

I like Prince the best. He and Michael both took things that James did and incorporated it in their performances. James was a huge influence on both and you can see that. I also pick Prince because he can play almost any instrument which Michael can’t do.
