i never considered James to be a "Black" MX racer. i just thought he was a one of the best!!!! and when i go to supercross his camp is always my first stop.
When James started racing I was pretty young and didn’t even know what racism was. I was so impressed by his riding, it never even occurred to me that he was different and was discriminated against in the sport
@@A.J.1656 I think I was going back and forth with various people on various topics. I debate politics and race relations a lot and must have been replying to someone else and posted here accidentally because I have comments here that are relevant to the subject but I agree, that one was not.
I’ll never ever forget seeing Stewart on that KX 125 at an outdoor national riding against a lot of 4 strokes. He crushed them. I could not believe how hard and fast he was riding. Watched him come off a big double, go immediately into a wheelie and ride it all the way into the face of the next jump. He was unbelievable to watch. No fear at all.
I remember James when he was on a yz50. They used to drive a Mercedes station wagon pulling a small trailer with the bikes. I was racing in the 80 and super mini classes back then. Watched him get his first win at Loretta’s also. Great times and memories
2014 Toronto supercross.. in my opinion the best ride of his and the best ride I have ever seen.. and I had the pleasure of watch Jeremy McGrath's whole career and everyone after McGrath.
My friends would kind of chuckle when I told them that I was following this young black MX Racer and he looks like the best I ever saw. My black friends even laughed harder than my white friends. Thanks Bubba for giving me the last laugh!!
Im a white guy who raced and for james Stewart i have nothing but respect for him not only as a racer but how he conducted himself.i dont no him and he dont no me but i met him at lorettas and he took time to say hi and shake my hand.hes a good man and racer.
"Are you the most dominant performer in any sport?"......Yeah... Omfg I miss that ultimate swag 7 had. I grew up a Jeremy McGrath fan but soon as I saw 7 for the first time I absolutely loved watching him and is my favorite riders ever..and my sons
i was never a fan of him because he was just..so good, but seeing where he came from and how he made it to where he is now, you cant hate the man. he's amazing. one of my heros lol
24 starts 24 wins absolute legend only a small few will ever understand what it takes at that elite level for so long bubba is a demon speeding born to ride no fear of pain just the fire inside to win win win whatever it takes he's nothing but a pro . Rode threw the best times from the introduction of the 450 four stroke which were a beast to ride carby to the rocket bikes we have today long live one of the kings of motocross.
I just watched one of his races in 2013 vs. Canard. And James Stewart rides so fast, so effortlessly, it's supernatural. There is almost no way the bike should be able to go that fast. It's almost like there is a Psionic effect involved. It's literally beyond machine or A.I. abilities, nothing could ever go that fast no matter how much raw machine intelligence it had. He goes faster than the math or science should allow.
What a cool dude, just got myself a NEW hero this fella is BRILLIANT,i hope 1 day my 2 sons can be just half as good as him.....What a true mx LEGEND in the making.
It is so SAD that there are still people out there that are bias. This guy has made his mark on the motocross sport. I don't care what the sport is, I will always see this man as a great motocross rider. I have never considered him as a Black, White, Red, Purple or anything elase but a great rider. Period!!!!!
Wow! I was looking for the actor! And came here! Never knew about a black American being a top motorcross racer. It makes you feel proud. That we can do anything we set our mind to. This is amazing!
People should be ashamed at the disrespect they are showing to one the all-time greatest athletes/heroes/Americans ever to have lived. Yes, he has had a lot of crashes, but that's because he puts 100% in every single time he gets on the bike, and isn't afraid to ride on the edge. But when Stewart is on his game, he is STILL the fastest man on two wheels. Just in 2014, he won 5 out of 6 supercrosses in spectacular fashion! And that's against RV 2, Roczen, Dungey, Canard ,Reed, and the rest. I am SO SO disappointed by his suspension. I have the privilege of attending my very first ever supercross w/ a good seat and pit pass, just next month, and sadly, he won't be racing. Hopefully, he will be signing autographs. Love the guy! He is my all-time favorite. The GOAT being a close second.
Bubba was the fastest that’s not even a debate. Those that actually raced him will tell you this. Now does that mean the greatest no it doesn’t. Did he win the most races ever including seasons no.. but that’s not what is being stated here. Simply the fastest. No one else was willing to ride the edge of blade like he did ever damn motto. With that you either lead by 30 seconds or more or you crash big time. HAD HE RODE MORE CONSERVATIVE the debate then would of been GOAT title.
best movie i have seen it gave me the desire to go and ride faster and not to think about what can happen coz if this is your sport no matter how many times u get hurt u dont care u just wanna go ride
Saw him in St Louis I believe in 2013..my jaw dropped at speed he carried around the track. Watching on TV they look fast, but until you see it live...it's like damn.
Jason Falcon 76 I hate for people to say something about color no one can help what race there born. James Stewart sets a level for all mankind. Of all the people I've saved a black African American saved me I love black people becouse there true to there heritage. ♥️🇺🇲🦊🏁🏆💯%Mr Stewart and his Mother and wife and brother's and child is what makes anyone. Always a positive role model to follow and James Stewart would be following me if we raced but I'd have mad respect.♥️🇺🇲🦊🏁
There are certain people who do things that no one else has even thought of trying !!?, Maybe some of them try ,? but they don't seem to get it done !!, If they did ,?, You would ,!, would see a perfect style, that has him far ahead of everyone !!, Check it out !?, Who is as dareing , as fast , so stylish , when he goes so fast , that when he races , he wins most of the time !!, When he dosen't, he's either on the ground , or his motorcycle has quite running !?!?, Then , someone else has the same feeling he has ,!, When he wins !!!, There are certain riders ,!, Who get to feel that emotion !!, They think that they have to win , just to know that feeling !!, And that's the emotion you will feel , when you do WIN !!!!, ask the number # 1 riders why they want to win Everytime they enter a race !!?, they want that feeling in them !, It's not the money !,(but they get paid very well !,) A top team will go for those that hate to loose a race , their the ones who will do their best to win the next race !!, Some team managers know who these riders are !!, Watch the races !, you'll see the winners come from last place to the front !, that's the best feeling ever !?!?!, I'll stop now !, I think you know what I was getting across to you !?!?!??, Have a great winning experience , just watching !!... Dale..
Seeing RC say James was the fastest.... "He could have won more races if he would have backed off.... But he doesn't care" Coming from the GOAT! I remember when James was asked if he was mad about the repetitive takeouts from rival Chad Reed. He answered " If I would have rode better he wouldnt have had the opportunity" I bet this mentality was instilled in him by James Sr. from an early age. If he won it was because of him, if he did'nt win it was because of him. Others do not control you, others cannot prevent you. Great fathers have a huge impact on their children becoming great.
Wow ,what a Champ ,i used to watch him race he was fast and furious i cant believe the racist remarks and treatment he endured ,it sucks big time ,and still he stayed humble ,love you James you a true Champ bubba.
No work ethic killed his career. He'd quit anytime he had adversity and refused to train. You create your own luck. He rode over his head like a buffoon and was a ticking time bomb/. Anyone can just pin it. But other racers have a brain and are smart enough to know, you can't ride on the ragged edge all the time or you're gonna eat the dirt.
Good for you james...my first race ever was at gatorback national in florida and it was against you buddy...ive never forgotten that race and ill be a fan until you retire buddy!!
Met him the Atlanta Supercross after he barely beat Villopoto, then his brother a few times at the mini O's and his dad multiple times at Loretta's and they were all very nice outgoing people. They were down to earth and willing to take time to talk and goof around. If you truly love to race or just love the sport as a spectator you would realize how sad/ disappointing it is for people to act the way they did at Southwick that year, I know it happened at other tracks but Southwick was one of the main ones. Marvin musquin was booed by them after he won there. It sucks that he's been gone 4 quite some time now and in a way I don't blame him considering people either loved him or hated him, I don't agree with everything he did as a rider but nonetheless I think he was a really good person
james stewart is 100% the greatest motox rider to ever live , respect to his dad worked is arse off so they could ride 70+hours a week , as for the racist s i think they made him more determined to be the best , he is such a humble n nice guy , who had the last laugh, him and his dad are living the dream and massivley deserved , respect to the stewarts , godbless you all 👌
James Bubba Stewart is and always has been and will be my favorite, because of his inspirational story, his heart and dedication. It plays a example of his personality and spirit, (i know this might sound gay but no better way to describe it) he has a beautiful mind. so FUCK all you haters out there, you cannot and will never beat him so suck it up all you critics who probably cant ride worth shit.
Reminds me of F1s Lewis Hamilton kinda the unwavering drive to win every time he throws a leg over changed to way riders approach every jump, corner, whoop if your not scrubbing your losing we r all blessed to watch this icon always wanted him to race rockets vs Marquez they both ride over the limit
There'll never be another rider like James. Glad to have witnessed him over the years and live in my hometown of Toronto. Toronto 2014 ... Still get chills from that ride
I love how people think that this man is cocky, i don't see how.. He was asked a simple question, and he answered it honestly. James Stewart is the MOST dominant racer, and the fastest racer their is. This season was a learning experience for james, Let's see what he will do for this years outdoor season.
