I'm somewhere in that crowd. A kid was standing next to me. He was there to see the next act that night and didn't know James. Tim Booth kept leaping into the crowd and everytime he was returned to the stage he would throw himself into the crowd again: "I want to be there with you guys!". The rain was pouring. Tim sang most songs in the arms of the crowd. The kid next to me turns and says "this is the greatest concert I've ever seen!" :)

Someone explain to me why this song hasn’t become a world wide anthem? It’s absolutely amazing, so underrated!!

I find them as band/group which just connects, I've seen countless bands over the years, none have had the same effect as james, I can cry with happiness and elation, I can be sad,I want to dance, but I'm a bloke who can't but does, I can feel the words, I can just be...feck knows...just whatever...just a joy to listen an see. Over the years some bands I'm a huge admirer of and seen are Joy Division, The Fall, New Order, The Smiths, Charlatans, Carpets..all Manchester bands weirdly...but they are nowhere near as to how james...'feel me'...or I them...get me. A treasure. Hopefull a National one.

What a song. I have followed James since i was knee high to a grasshopper. Best song this side of 2000. I love them. This is James at their best.

Well 30 years +and still going strong as ever' each song when listened to tells a story and its like being emersed into the story and to me personally each song is genius and could never be bettered by any band. Back in 2001 Manchester live and some equipment broke and they weren't going to carry on till mended but they got there. It was like they were just jamming but the way they pulled it off was outstanding Tim booth said We got an idea and then it was Ladies and gentlemen welcome to our desease.....wich turned out in my opinion the best version of jonny yenn ever and now still I get such a buzz . The euphoria kicks in and the genius Larry gott came back on stage after just going off. And even years down the line still going strong as ever. Please give us at least another decade. Thanks for all your years of work and dedication as it has brought me from the bottom of my life back to the normality. I could go on and on but from the bottom of my heart thankyou. The best band in my life of listening to music and could never be bettered. Going to listen to a few tracks of a band called JAMES. 👍👍👍

been watching james since early 80/s this band his 20yrs ahead of everyone else but not given the recognition they deserve the lyrics to every song is amazing and still going strong in his 50/s not bad for Tim booth has he wasn't the original singer but a dancer keep rocking Tim your legend (rosser)
