I just visited James Dean’s hometown a few weeks ago, it’s beautiful place. 💜✨

The first thought that crossed my mind when JAH walked to James Dean grave was "I hope he doesn't christen that head stone like he does everything else when he is in a dog park" :) Sorry Jah, but the little guy must have a bladder the size of a basketball:) Loved the meetup. I grew up not far from Fairmount. I remember my mom telling me, when we were at the tractor dealership where he was working, that Marcus was James Deans cousin. I was young enough at the time that I didn't know who James Dean was...but I knew who his cousin was. So for a while, Marcus Winslow was more famous to me than James Dean.

Darn….you’re right by where I grew up… Wish I could have met you there!!!! My Mom went to Marion HS when Dean was a student in Fairmount. We used to go to the annual James Dean Festival in Fairmount. The gravestone has been stolen numerous times……Thanks for posting.

I use to go to Fairmount all the time and I know a guy, I went to school with, his dad named him james dean cause his dad was a huge fan of James Dean, they live in Tipton indiana now. Im originally from sheridan indiana.

A friend of mine is a distant relative of James Dean, on his mom's side.

My wife and I visited Fairmount a few years ago. She is from Muncie, Indiana. We also visited the Hi-Fi Stereo shop, and had an interesting lunch in the Palace bar you drove by. Definitely a town worth a visit !

Thanks, Jordan, for a very enjoyable vlog. Jah is such a great dog...a real character. I get quite a laugh out of his antics. At the time of James Dean's death neither myself nor any of my friends had seen his films yet. We lived in a very small town and getting to see first run films was a real rarity. We did know who Dean was, though, as we'd all seen his photos in magazines. I remember going to school (junior high) on Monday and all the kids were talking about the accident. Once we were able to see his three films, we were hooked for life. I've been sort of binge-watching your vlogs from the earliest days. Your #90 on F. Scott Fitzgerald was excellent. Your growth as a vloger is fun to see. I've also enjoyed all the vlogs on your recent move and have sent a couple episodes to relatives who have lots of music memorabilia and told them to take some of your ideas on how to display their items.
