THE HUNT OF THE YEAR... Loyal Fierce firearms customer, James Hetfield from Metallica joined us on another epic elk hunt with Mescalero Big Game Hunts.
Seeing James away from Metallica, not focusing on Metallica, dont see it often but its a breath of fresh air. You see much more the human side of him. and its really awesome.
@@theaussieburwoodboy9943 - I'm with you on antifa, but nothing like watching a man worth 300 million dollars kill a buck, from 45 feet away (what skill! may as well hip fired it), for the joy of it, while having his ass kissed by his guides because he's rich and famous.
I'm not a hunter but I appreciate people like this who enjoy it and do it respectfully to feed their families/friends and enjoy it. Also, it's nice to see James hanging out and not doing the whole Metallica thing.
You’d be surprised I bet. I’d say 99% of hunting in America is used for food. Can’t speak for trophy hunting in other coutures such as Africa.... As a hunter myself, I am very against purely trophy hunting!
Trump children go trophy hunting in africa for some fotos. I find that absolutely repulsive. Hunting for food is completely legitimate! Using a private plane is really stupid on the other hand!
James Hetfield,if you are keen into a really nice hunting trip ,you are my guest for a nice full hunting week on driven wild boar ,stags and much more ,in Romania ( everything it's from the house )
I'll be honest. I'm a huge Metallica fan, I don't eat meat, I support animal rights, but what I will say is that hunting for food and killing an animal quickly and still expressing some form of respect for that animal is a million times better than slowly torturing an animal with 50 bows for a photo op and leaving it to rot in the woods, and its also a million times better than factory farming. I still don't like it, but I'm more sympathetic to rural people hunting for food. Hetfield wants to be part of the food chain, it was an instant kill and he showed respect, so I can look past it somewhat.
You don’t eat meat, but more people do than don’t. Hunting for food is much better than buying it from the grocery store that gets its stock from some meat factory that keeps its animals in 2x4 pens. Gtfo
Nobody cares about your opinion. You talking like you can say shit to them. These are not your animals, nor the land is not yours. So they can do what ever legal thing they want.
@@gbrlla0020 Yes I know he said he harvested it for his family, he also said it was a trophy & put a tag on it, I assume a price tag or date of the kill. My point was the animal didn't give its life he stole the animals' life. He didn't need to kill an animal for food or trophy.
Lots of people dislike James because he hunts... he's a real Hunter. He only kills what he'll eat. It's so rare seeing people harvest animal meat. With the shit they mixing and packing in stores, this is the best and safest way to eat. And yes certain animal hunting is of G-d, Chris Pratt does the same. I need me a man that brings home the meat lol. James looks so cute in his gear. He's really good, no bullshitter.
hunting is atleast not as unethical as factory farming, so if he likes to get his meat from free animals that had a decent life in the wild than some tortured animals in a factory, i dont mind it
I can’t believe how it’s the year 2020, and there are still people in the world that are against legal hunting. Papa Hetfield, you’re all the more cooler now. Rock on and hunt on! “Of wolf and Het!”
Everything about this is wrong, dearest James: flying with a private jet , obviously alone, to a trophy hunting, macho event. Thats makes no sense-as this is not for food but just for ego-pushing and adrenaline. I eat meat from time to time and I am against mass animal farming , but this is wrong on many other levels. Killing should not be a fun thing. And it def. isnt , especially for those who are killed.
I personally could never ever take the life of an animal and for a long time I was anti hunting. Still anti trophy hunting but I don’t have a problem anymore with hunting to eat and feed family. Factory farming is absolutely disgusting and shameful. At least with hunting it is a quick kill and more of the animal is used. I also love how James really respects the animals and appreciates them for giving their lives.
I’ve hunted all my life. It’s really the only meat I eat. But I hate absolutely hate trophy hunting. I mean if you kill a huge buck or bull elk by all means mount that sucker but for the love of God eat the meat.
Just stumbled on this episode. Pretty cool watching James in the woods hunting elk. I’m a huge Metallica fan and I just ordered my first Fierce rifle… Good things are coming
As an aspiring artist and a hunter, he is so inspiring and i’ve been a fan of James Hetfield and Metallica for 2 decades now. The ones i’ve seen from hunting entertainers, most hunters are so boring with no charisma and all serious, he is such a breath of fresh air. He cracks jokes and he is so funny, but also being able to be sincere. There is something boring and bland about most American hunters with their overly-serious attitude and no self awareness from them
James, i got a 338 win mag in a A-Bolt Browning,,,,, its super light,,,,but kicks like a mule,,,,much lighter than my Remington BDL's,,, i like em both,,,,its wood stock the A-Bolt,,, i love the looks of old wood than this plastic stuff,,, just dont look right to me,,,happy Hunting
I love how Lars & his wife are vegetarians, they be supporting animals rights n shit. Meanwhile there’s James here totally the opposite lol I love the fact that he hunts to feed his family and doesn’t just do it for fun.
I don't see how this is a bad thing. This animal had a good life and had every chance to escape. They didn't brutally murder it, the animal didn't suffer, while the meat that you buy from the grocery store is from animals that were treated like shit and suffered every day. This is a lot more humane. Plus, it's not illegal to hunt these animals, they're not endangered and the meat will be eaten and enjoyed. James was pretty respectful to the animal too, more respectful than KFC are to their chickens.
Can't blame him for wanting to eat hinted meat, we do home kill on our farm in New Zealand, and the meat is so much better/ cheaper than shop brought meat, and thats comparing it to NZ brought meat which is still very good.
A 16:13 se fai quel click dove caccio io nelle Alpi i cervi li vedi solo col binocolo a 2 km, e di sicuro non ti arrivano a 20 metri. Comunque bravo James. Weidmannsheil!
Did his first round hit the rear of the animal and the second ended it? Or did the first go through the chest and out the back of the animal and he missed the second shot?
At first I didn’t pay attention to hunting, but now that I see it in action I feel pretty bad, but I’m not anti hunting, the elk was going to die by its predator so that’s that. But hearing them say congratulation after killing an animal was kinda sad tbh. But to each it’s own
SSSoooooo Nice this was a nice elk. funny in europe the nearest we com to elk is stack they are werry similar to elk. over her we call moos for elk just a bit funfact. Congrats to James wit his fine trophy and the freeser full
ok James I love what you do for hunting but you never tell about your set up . I heard your interview with Joe Rogan and even then you dont say what you hunt with. what caliber what make. what grain. why did you chose that set up. you tell me and i will tell you what my go to round is.
