Nice! I've been in coffee about a decade and would disagree largely as I normally see much more standoffish baristas globally who tend to dangle education over the heads of others. I see here two people who are enthusiastic about spreading coffee knowledge to all. As well as some goofball energy. Curious what you think, though i know you won't elaborate further.
@@LanceHedrick Thank you for saying it how it is. I only got into the game a year ago and have certainly noticed this atmosphere myself, but wasn't sure if it was just me, because others have disagreed. It is validating to hear it from you.
@@TeKNiQ50 idk, I would say over the past few years as coffee community grown people online are definitely more helpful then not, especially when compared with other communities. And because a large percentage of that online community are James Hoffman views they " mostly " champion his attitude to education and growing the coffee community is better for everyone in the long run. Tho it may be different in irl I have done some work as a barista and because the others I worked with weren't so into that's definitely how they perceived me.
I was going to show my Asian barista friends ‘some of the best western Baristas and their skill’, this is the newest video in my feed, so I clicked. Now I got a lot of explaining to do….
Like brewing coffee, this should be done a certain way. First, you make and serve the man an espresso then he sips it while you give him a piggyback ride.
