Crime Vault, I sincerely appreciate all of the time and effort you put into making each one of these videos. I’m certain it’s a very time consuming task not to mention all of the research I’m sure you do on top of what you are publicly able to find in video/audio format. I’ve always had an interest, heck I’d be willing to go as far as saying I’ve always had an addiction to true crime type videos, documentaries, books, etc etc. There’s a lot to be learned by watching these videos on these killers. After my time on the Army, and my 18 month deployment in Iraq I really gained a heightened awareness concerning certain scenarios, certain situations, people and experiences in general. Just from watching anything true crime I’ve noticed I now have what I would describe as a “Supercharged” sense of awareness towards situations and people. There’s so much that can be taken away from videos like these. I find it fascinating, and honestly downright disturbing at just how “normal” these freaking killers appear, act, and speak. Without a doubt in my mind, I would feel comfortable betting that we all come into contact with folks just like this psycho. One of the biggest things I take away from videos like these that Crime Vault puts out is a much, much higher appreciation for my loved ones and for life in general as a whole. Crime Vault, THANK YOU!! I look forward to new videos and I’ve yet to finish a video unhappy or disappointed.

Bugson McKenzie - done: “The odds of both Aurora and Newtown connected to one of the largest financial scandals historically is slim. The connection is leaving some to wonder where the shooters got their training. Others wonder if there was a subplot involved which permitted the young men to do what they did.”😂 Btw- the Earth is round, 911 wasn’t connected to the US government, and we DID in fact land on the moon! 🖕🏼

He studied "temporal illusions" (illusions in perception of time) as an intern for the SALK Institute, a DARPA funded project. DARPA is Defense Advanced Research Projects. He was literally in military neuroscience research and development. There is more to the story. It is at very least worthy of emphasis. That being said screw him or anyone, unless they are completely droned (human droning has been a thing), who harms innocent people, let alone kills them. Its a rigged game. Semper Fi

He’s painful to watch! His answers are so short with no details when you can tell he has a lot more going on in his head! I do however like the doctor, he’s very careful with what he says so he doesn’t suggest answers. He rather makes James answer in his own words. I wouldn’t have the patience!

@StormSong8
@StormSong8 5 лет назад
I believe he's answering the questions the best way he knows how, and there's _not_ that much more going on in his head. It's annoying because he will never understand the extent of his crimes beyond the clinical facts. There's no feeling in this man, no social adeptness. He thinks answering a question is responding to it with the correct words and that's that. No deeper meaning. I knew a kid who had a shrunken head, (encypho-something,) and his brain didn't have enough room to grow full size. He answered questions the same way- if he knew the answer should be a number he just gave a number and that was that. You can ask him his weight, the time, how much money he had, and he'd always respond with a random number and be proud. My friend also knew when he was being insulted and responded with curses of his own, but there was never any anger or emotion behind them. He was like an actor _reciting_ lines that applied to the character he was playing, but not to himself. This guy here does the same exact thing, responds like he's reciting lines with complete detachment. It's as if he's talking about someone other than himself.

I think you'd be surprised how little is going on in his head these days with the medication he's on. Antipsychotics have a way of emptying your head as well as kind of removing you from reality in a way, like it stops hallucinations or delusions, but they kind of also make your body seem buried in a kind of tar or treacle or something which is blocking out what would otherwise be entering your senses.

It would be interesting to hear his answers free of any medications. The doctor, however, is a superb negotiator. His ‘late night DJ voice’ always keeping things calm. His occasional “playing dumb” to empower Holmes. His selection of ‘surface’ questions is perfectly balanced with the deep dive, hard material. And he keeps Holmes in a circular maze of logic by constantly rephrasing his insights until he gets Holmes to expand on his ‘yep’ and ‘nope’ answers. 👏 👏 👏

@John Jonathan Ive thought about this a bit and I think that the more we develop technology and civilization as a whole, people get more and more eccentric because the types of jobs out there are going far from the normal show up at an office at 9am and clock out at 5pm. You've got millions of people that can make a living in their underwear online in their basement, or working in anti-social jobs like 24/7 parking garage attendant or security guard or whatever. It's just getting worse and worse the more we develop new things, especially online.
@whiskerbiscuit6674

Because he's medicated. He knows what he's done and there is a huge level of disbelief and guilt. You have to look at some mental illnesses like alcohalism. Except your black outs can be a year long or more. And when you are finally medicated you "sober up" and realize what you've done and often don't want to admit it. Imaging waking up in a doctors office with no idea how you got there and finding out to murdered someone or many. But you have flashes of what you did and can't discern whether it's real or dream, but everyone is telling you it's real.

That's the whole point; this is the kind of peace and patience people should averagely have with each other, but we don't have time for that... It's cumbersome, (more) difficult (to do than being a selfish prick) and above all, potentially dangerous to be "contaminated" with "his inferiority", for which he never received anybody to say, hey; "hey, don't worry. How are you? And, you're going to be fine". Then we can label him a monster, when he or she snaps... Individualism, possibly capitalism, has reach its end... It's time for something new, much like Marx predicted about it; it could achieve great things, but would also become its own undoing... I haven't studied for this (formally), but I'm quite sure it explains a lot of these huge issues we see in society; it's usually a lack of patience of the rest to help those others to come along; but we're too busy for that, with ourselves... We like to label and hate people that reminds us of the worst of ourselves...

As an observer, I find the entire 1st interview and at least 15 minutes of the 2nd (where I stopped the video to write this) excruciating how he constantly gives nonanswers or says "I can't remember" over and over and over again. Kudos to the interviewer for having the patience needed to do this interview. If I was given the opportunity to interview James Holmes for whatever reason, I'm sure I would keep my composure and be professional. What I suspect is that it would require an entire cultural shift to the way we understand mental illness and the violence it can induce despite popular beliefs, that it cannot get violent . Rather than us naturally and justifiably seeing these kinds of mass murderers as monsters, what would need to be understood is the psychic suffering they’re in that leads them into a pattern of isolation, hatred, and homicidal thoughts that perpetuate this behavior. I only know as someone who’s personally experienced homicidal thoughts . I was suffering with an extreme psychotic depression and finding no connection in the world, the mind seeks to obliterate it because every single humanly thing becomes a torment. It’s misery to have intrusive thoughts of killing people and it’s not something desired; it flashes across your eyes and the more the isolation intensifies, the harder it becomes not to dwell in those thoughts. I used to say I was “buried” in them . Of course, I am not trying to generalize all mass shooters here by any means but to recognize their act through the lens of intense psychic suffering is a start to understanding how and why this happens.
@Whooopsnobodybusinessactually
@Whooopsnobodybusinessactually 2 года назад
@@Maziedivision I have been thinking about it a lot also, I feel like if we just focus on raising the standard of living by even a moderate amount we could reduce a lot of the violence overall. I’m sorry to hear about your struggle I hope you find a lasting peace.

I noticed this as well. After some reflection it occurred to me that him using two hands is a natural subconscious response to the fact that he's had to learn how to drink something while handcuffed. It's been two years since his arrest and he's probably spent countless hours in handcuffs, while needing a drink. No sense in only using one hand if both are available and together anyway. After a day or so, he's able to consciously remember that he doesn't need to use two hands because he's not in handcuffs. Same thing for the fingers interlaced...when your hands are together for long stretches of time, what else are you going to do with your hands but interlace them.

You are the sort of woman that sends nude pics to these monsters in prison. Its a pity he wasn't so broken that he killed himself before hurting all those people.

Haha wow @ the hate this woman is getting for showing human compassion for someone. I know it might be hard for some of you too understand but I person can actually have more than one feeling about a situation.

I felt really weird that the shrink grinded him on his sister abandoning him so much. I barely talk to my siblings. That's just how it is for some people.

James Holmes is a lor different that the usual lunatics we hear about doing this. But in order to help him you must know his motives. He doesn't make that abundantly clear but I have a hunch after watching these videos over the years.

Dude admits he's mental, had admitted he's mental in the past, has reached out for help in the past. Doesn't get a shrink to pick his brain until after killing several people indiscriminately.

He had been seeing a school psychiatrist until he suddenly dropped out of school the month before the shooting. The psychiatrist reported him to campus police but nothing was done. A simple visit to his apartment would have been telling. We have strict laws in this country about what a person must do before they are involuntarily searched or detained. He didn’t meet those criteria before the shooting, unfortunately. amp.businessinsider.com/disturbing-photos-of-aurora-shooter-james-holmes-apartment-2015-9

I had no idea but I saw Super Troopers 2 on 4/20 in the exact theater he shot up. I went home and told my Uncle whose from Aurora (I had just moved to Colorado) and told him what theater I saw it at and he's like, oh what cinema? And I was like awww shit. Just my luck too.

Is there a reason for the break in audio/video at 1:29:00 to 1:29:10? I'm one of those crazies that is contemplating whether there were outside forces abound. The more I watch of these interviews, the more I think my initial assumptions are wrong and influenced by "conspiracy culture". But I'm never *TOO* sure.........
