Just cooked this today, being that it is so cold. I swear that was the best Fish Stew I have ever cooked in my life. Thank You so much, Jamie. Thanks to your cooking I have found a love for it!!!
Thank you Jamie , Love what you said about being creative and keep learning cooking regardless of whether you are poor or rich I love basic and yummy cooking I just cooked a tomato stew tonight with curry spice inspired by watching this and I was soooo good
I'm catching on, are these being broadcast live somewhere? Or is 'live webcast' just the name of of these kind of vids? Apart from the wining: love your work jamie! You really inspire me!
love that fish stew, growing up on the Island we ate so much fresh fish and other seafoods, and all natural foods we never eat out grandparents and parents grew just about everything, with fresh fruits and vegetables living here is not the same, we still try to eat good, the fish is horrible here.
@anshumanutube his approach to people is the best thing about jamie (well, one of the best, he's an all-rounder), what I mean, is that he touches people's mind through cooking, food making art, so everyone can get his ideas. I don't think, that many people are reading a lot of modern philosophers books or watching them videos (if there are some), this is the easiest and the best way to communicate with people about a lot of positive stuff
Fishtew he said, not Fishjew. You obviously do not appreciate an Essex accent when you hear it! I wonder what you have commented upon if he was an American where they substitute the spoken letter T with a D (wader rather than water for example)) so he would have said :- Fishdue! Would you have bothered to comment then? I think not!
Depends. You want the fish with the blue MSC label. Its the Marine Stewardship Council certification for sustainable fish. Its a international label, so it should be the same everywhere. Both farmed and wild caught fish can be MSC certified.
@anshumanutube You are the on in error friend. You thought you were watching a cook, he stopped being only that a long time ago. Jamie Oliver is now of real value to society, a true philosopher.
@ikboll hes trying to be more than just a great chef, hes trying to be an ambassador of good health around the world, and its people like you who are making hard for jamie to do that
I dont like any of this kind of seafood-but somehow Jamie makes me want to eat it.I think ill have to give it a try again. :) and i agree with him-iv lived in asia and africa(in the most poorest places)and their food is sublime!I myself am not rich, but i love to make food of leftovers. Not often i follow a receipe bc i always make a twist to them. And its just amazing. There are no limits-only posibilities. GO for it-FOOD revolution! :)
Almost everything in the pot is not affordable where I live, as we don't have local produce, everything is imported. At the last part the camera was too close to the steam and and we see nothing. Close ups are not necessary the best thing.
Too rustic for me. A good fish stew needs an emulsion between the oil and the tomato and shellfish juices. That means lifting the fish out after cooking, then really boiling the liquid hard, finally pouring this over the plated up fish.
Or is it Wednesday... That half bottle of Sangria is kicking in on top of the rock band playing next door. Got my fish stew in my crock pot set on warm.. What u got
Don't know how Jamie is in his own time, but he doesn't seem comfortable with himself in front of the camera. Needs to understand that it's ok to stop talking all the time, he is allowed to breath. The viewers will still learn by watching without being bombarded by noise.
well someone got out of the bed the wrong side this morning, is it just me or does Jamie seem like hes got a bit of a shitty on today? sorry! just my tiny 80s computer screen. lmfao
