I was just thinking this! On stage whenever he wasn't performing he seemed so shy and softspoken and I love that contrast, I recently saw him with AJJ both in Denver and Sante Fe. I feel for him, I think he had a rough time growing up which I relate with and I can't get enough of his beautiful angstiness. 🥺

I get that this was before Jamie came out as nonbinary but they use they/them pronouns

This was from a long time ago and my memory is a bit fuzzy but I swear I heard him talking about being in San Francisco after one of their gig and he just went out for a walk with some fans from the show. And he was talking about walking down the street with them. That is such a Jamie Stewart thing to do.

i've heard mixed stories about how he acts but from my (limited) interactions with him he's seem lovely. from the stories i've heard it just sounds like he was having a bad day and wasn't really in the mood. i think people tend to forget he's human. i'm glad you had a great expierence with him!

@@yungmentalproblems personally thought that interview was awesome and Peggy is just in a dark little place in my opinion. might have made some things come off weird?(for you) but that interview felt fine to me ESPECIALLY when you regard the other recent reviews Jpeg has had because he's had a few or one in particular that was pretty cringe and wasn't flowing right. very unlike the fantano one

Definitely start with the Fabulous Muscles album, it will ease you into their stuff.

a promise is like a top 3 album ever!! their early discog is so worth the listen despite it being rough around the edges

Fab Muscles, then Forget will ease you in A promise, Angel Guts, Knife Play, are the dark and abrasive ones but the most rewarding Always is to me like a sequel to Fabulous Muscles, but with a different vibe They're all really good of course, have fun listening!

I've interviewed Gira once. Dude's initmidating as fuck, but also very professional - he treats interviews like a job. If Antoni Fontana would come up with well-versed, non-vague questions, probably a great interview could be a result.
