This is one of those songs that you don't only listen, you feel it. It's strange but it's the most beautiful feeling.

To me this is the perfect song. I know music is subjective, possibly the most subjective of all mediums, but there is something about this song I cannot fault. The way the production builds, the ambiguity but originality of the lyrics, the emotions it evokes... And THAT ending. Perfect way to close a song like this. The final lines of the song and the closing notes. UHHH. You can listen to it in any mood and still be floored everytime. A masterpiece.

My last day of secondary school was Tuesday last week. I spent about an hour listening to this crying over how Ill never see 80% of the people Ive known for years again. This song just has that nostalgic "end of an era in your life" feeling, and it certainly is for me

This beautiful song reminds me of my husband Rene Morales. We’ve known each other since we were teenagers and I’m 31 now. We have been separated since the beginning of 2022 and it’s been a journey of many life lessons. It’s been quite depressing since my other half and I haven’t been together due to our own struggles. If we wanted to work it out, we would’ve done so already and now I’m here listening to loud places by Jamie XX! Haha. The significant, amazing, and wonderful matter is a baby girl named Sophia Juliette O. my husband and I created. Sophia will be 2 years of age on 7/31. When I look into her eyes I see grace, unconditional love, joy, beauty and intelligence. I love our daughter Sophia with all my heart. Many more years to come for Sophie! We’re staying strong! May my love life heal for the greater good. lol. 🪽✨✝️🙏📿🕊️

Saw Jamie xx at boardmasters this summer, easily the best live performance I've ever seen. The mans a genius, he takes you on a journey during his set its phenomenal. This song reminds me of loves lost which is such a powerful emotion.

I can‘t believe this song is seven years old. I remember when I first heard it in 2016, it was such an amazing time back then. This song is pure nostalgia. But it‘s still one of my favorite songs till today. I wish I could get this time back once more, to me it seems like it‘s maybe just three years since then.

The way Idris' is sampled here is so vastly different than in Chrome Sparks. Here it has a beautifully sad tinge, and "Marijuana" makes me want to dance around everywhere. Two fantastic songs! Not to mention the original is one of the funkiest things. I love how all three are so different, yet so good.
