Super fan over here! I wonder if J&S could post a video showing the 2 ply jumper weight color cards in detail as they are so hard to get ahold of. It helps to see all the colors together in a single frame when choosing colors you’ve never seen before irl. Thanks for posting so much great content!

I knit the Hevdadale scarf and it is probably my favorite knitted piece in all of my 40+ years of knitting. I receive compliments almost every time I wear it. Shetland heritage yarns are so soft! I absolutely love the blue colour. I still need to decide a pattern for it. Maybe a headband or blanket!! ☺

Thanks for this, clears up my confusion over the different J&S yarns. Also reassured me re. steeking, I've been making the MRI Maakers Cowl and got to the cutting the steek bit, but have been too scared to do it! Will go ahead now :)

Thank you. Very informative. I don’t live near any shops which sell Shetland wool, so I have to rely on reviews from others. I hope I have understood this correctly, if a yarn is worsted spun, it’s a bit softer?! That’s really useful to know. 🙏

Was it the Sletts Shawl? that's the one we have in 2ply Supreme and 2ply Woollen Spun lace :)
