I feel sorry for Dave. All he does is pour his heart and soul out on that stage, and his friend and bandmate just embarrasses himself and the band like that. I dont know if its mental health, drugs or drinking but in any case the guy could use some help.
Opioids are still worse, been hooked on both. Getting off Meth takes a few days Of being very tired , sleepy & hungry, maybe 2 weeks of being little bored & feeling like something is missing. Not much different than completely taking away caffine from somone drinking some bs venti frappe @ Starbucks 4x day for years. They just won't feel the tired sleepy part as bad. Opiods on the other hand took 3yrs of methadone & 2yrs of Suboxone & still feeling like every nerve in your body is signaling pain at the same time for at least a week. Hell Coke , & especially Crack are 10x more the devils drug than meth. Not only do they make it impossible to hide their addictions within a year, making addicts unable to function in society at all. But they also rob you of every penny you have, because any real coke crack addict needs $1000-$2000+ per week to maintain & avoid withdrawal , which is much worse than meth but not as bad as opiods. They craving for crack is unbelievable, its like the msg of drugs. You don't even know why you want more, it doesnt even feel good after the first month. But you cannot stop .
Rumors are Perry has been partying hard lately. It doesn't look like Dave has a clue whats going on. It also looks like the second guy to grab Perry starts hitting.

I had a childhood friend who fell deeper and deeper into the addiction hole. This behavior reminds me so much of him. He became so unpredictable and aggressive that you just couldn’t spend time with him anymore because he’d try something like this and really hurt you. He refused to even try to get sober. He ended up in a coma after a night of heavy drinking and drugs. Whomever he had been with dumped him unconscious in a parking lot and took off. He never woke up. Such a sad, horrible waste.
I wonder if he kind of "targeted" Dave because he knew that Dave is not a violent dude? I think if he shoulder checked anyone else up there one of them dudes would have told him "what time it was."
I know for a fact that his wife's account of the entire situation is a complete lie. It's also wine and pills not tinnitus and a sore throat. Perry is aware how Dave feels about violence but didn't care. If I was triggered by it I would think Dave was also. Like I said before completely unacceptable.
Wouldn't be the first tour he delayed or cut short because of "health issues." My understanding was that he's been sober for a long time, but maybe ...
My Dad bought me tickets upfront for my 21st birthday and now were depressed we aren't seeing them play in connecticut september 15th this sucks to good to be true I guess seeing a legendary band.

I remember maybe like 5-6 ago Perry being in a commercial advertising some shitty tequila.or vodka or something. I laughed so hard watching it. You can't possibly have a a worse spokesman for fun, responsible drinking
damn i saw them about a month ago and they were absolutely incredible. the chemistry between the band mates was on point. i’m sad to see they aren’t really getting along. perry’s performance and stage presence was awesome and he seemed to be in good shape. 😢
I was at this show, in Boston, last night, in the front of the audience (row 8), it was an amazing show. I was so dam excited. This happened. The guy next me and many in the audience had not idea, they missed it and "what just happened, did someone from the audience jump up on stage or something?" . I hope to god they can get some help, and pull it together. I loved the show until this point, then the rest of the band, bowed, and thanked the audience.
@@wildjulesmc There's a very good chance the original band will never play together again. Eric finally got physical shots in on Perry. Long overdue. There's been so much tension between those two since 1990 and it's always been a back and forth, mainly with Perry putting down Eric in the media every chance he got. Eric's really the only guy that had the guts to tell Perry "NO." Pretty cool you were there to see the end.
Have tickets for Chicago. I hope I don't "had" tickets for Chicago. Really excited to see Love and Rockets too. Come on Perry. Pull it together for your own sake.
Perry is just not up to singing these songs anymore, and he's angry and frustrated at himself, so he decided to take it out on Dave, who was killing it.
On the OP on Insta, people who were there said Perry kept going on tangents about his family, politics, and other stuff in the middle of songs. He had done this at other concerts, too, but he wouldn't shut up at this point. Dave started playing his guitar to keep the song going, and Perry had a meltdown at basically being told to STFU and get back to the music.
Here's some advice for you aspiring rock stars. If you somehow find success strike while the iron is hot and hold onto it for as long as you can, but don't wear out your welcome. Skip the alcohol and drugs because it never ends well and most importantly invest your money wisely.
Boring mild times. Shut the fuck up. Rn'R is about letting chaos burn you, getting over you. Sacrificing you for a bigger picture. Us, western civilization, are fucked up. And It's Good.
It looks like Perry is likely dealing with some on-set symptoms of dementia or alzheimers disease; quite possibly, even brain damage. It's not apparent that Dave knew why or could have done anything to stop him once the switch gets flipped on inside his mind. The nature of mental deterioration, with age, results in all manner of unpredictable outbursts and actions that don't fit the situation or even closely resemble the true nature of the person in question. He's definitely got some age on him now and the years that man has devoted to being an entertainer in a rock and roll band will certainly have their effects, for good and bad, on a persons quality of life, altogether. Sending prayers their way.
She said he got pissed because his vocals were being drowned out by the music for several shows. My question is if that's the case then have your sound guys adjust it. That's what sound check is for, and with today's technology it isn't difficult for anyone let alone big national touring bands.

Praying for all band members to find peace within themselves and even if it means leaving the band. Regardless of what the problem is . Life is too short to give anger or dope the power to get free room and board in your head and your heart. Praying for Dave , as he seemed totally clueless.

Perry’s coke rage at its finest. It’s not Dave’s fault that the sound levels were off and that your voice is weak from all the drugs you did back in the day or maybe still….allegedly wink wink. Take it up with the sound guys Diva Perry! Dave’s doing his job and doing it well.
