A chain is an important item in Mansfield Park. Fanny gets it from Edmund to wear the cross that her brother William brought her. This puts Fanny in a conflict because she previously received a necklace from the Crawfords for the same purpose.
My only issue with Penguin Clothbound Classics is that their cover designs easily scratch off. You have to be very careful while reading, especially on the spine. With this being said, I'm jelly I don't have this Jane Austen set lol.

I would have considered buying the Pride and Prejudice one as a showpiece (I heard it's not designed for reading) if they had chosen a nicer color than mustard yellow. Am I the only the one who thinks that P&P could have been given a better color given it's popularity? Or at least a more popping complementary color for it's design? But of course that's just my opinion.
I started buying these since they look so beautiful, but the cover art quickly rubs off (very easily). It was pretty disappointing. So, I think it would be good to do a long term review. I have since looked more into these (to see other peoples’ experience) because all my books were having the same issue despite being bought at different times and different places - and sure enough, it’s common. Some people reported issues with theirs even though they purchased their simply for display-they had others for reading, and these would be purely as a collection; their covers started rubbing off from simply carefully handling to shelve them. In addition, they aren’t a really well bound book (spines are just glued, versus a more quality type of binding method). I do love the way they look very much, but I won’t be buying any more. I’ll just admire them from afar via images or videos like yours. Thanks for your video. I enjoy them very much!
