I feel sorry for people working on that low of a wage its wrong they should put up minimum wages to adleast 15 pounds an amount I earn 18 pounds an hour and I feel I'm at the bottom of the working class

@@poisongas6033 Not sure if troll but on 18£ an hour that's above average in the UK and easily enough to be relatively comfortable, let alone being bottom of the working class. Bottom of the working class is 50% less than that.

@@poisongas6033 you must understand basic economics first. If you would raise the minimum wage to 15 pounds that would mean about a 50% increase. The profit wont increase so they probably fire and replace people with machines so they still make a profit. Added problems is that YOU get 15 pounds minimum wage BUT so is everyone else. So your barber wil be added 50% cost, food cost will go higher, young people wont get any work since they are inexperienced so not worth 15 pounds etc. So a lot of people will be replaces since it would be cheaper to let machines do the work. I know in the US about 1/3 of all the cost a restaurant/bar has is on staff. So if you raise staff cost by 50% that would mean staff will be almost half of the cost of running. So they either raise prices and cant compete with the competition or fire 50% of the staff and replace them with robots. Long story short, if you want to raise the minimum wage by 50% you have to realise EVERYTHING you buy or hire will go up in price.
