Well done Craig. Awesome footage of what is a fantastic event. This was my first ever race in 2015 so will always be special. Brilliant performance from yourself. Those undulating parkruns have obviously been doing you good. There are mild undulations and nice down sections which is so much better than completely flat. It is a nice, fast course. After 9 years of running, I'm still unsure about pacers. Don't get me wrong because they do a brilliant job. During marathons, they always attract a massive entourage which means the congestion can be annoying. It can also be soul destroying when they go past! 😆 Thanks again and good luck at Eccup 10. Ps. I spot myself on the video, marshalling in my XXXL hi-vis vest. I too 300 random photos of the runners and did catch one of you.
Thanks Colin, glad you enjoyed it. My eyes need testing, I looked out for you when editing knowing you mentioned where you were. This course is so much better than the original which was practically the Abbey Dash (which funnily enough was my first ever race back in 2014). Did you post the pics on fb? Lol honestly it went on forever. Just thought I'd try spruce things up, but ended up messing it up hahaha. Can't believe you don't like squishes, they were a hight of the afternoon when I got home
Cheers Andy, yeah messed up the overlays but liked nattering over the video. Will hopefully do a better job over the next two weekends with eccup 10 and ilkley half. Yeah I've always worked on miles rather than kilometres, I like that there's less of them to count 🤣
