I was so pleased when Janet was chosen to pay tribute to Aaliyah. Aaliyah was definitely in Janet's league! That's saying alot. Wish I could've seen them dance and do a duet together! Rest easy, Babygirl!😔🙏🏾❤️
I'm sure you know that duet was planned right? Aaliyah and Janet were already hanging out together and planning a duet before her passing, they were planning it on both Aaliyah's self titled and Janet's All for you album in 2001, but they were both insanely busy, and they were probably going to hook up and do something together in 2002 or 2003. That collaboration would have made history, just imagine their amazing voices and Janet and Aaliyah's signature heavenly harmonies over a dope Timbaland beat, and the choreography for the video would have been absolutely insane. Hate that we have to imagine this, it would have been a legendary song.
@@guitar_roker3590 I'm not surprised they were INSANELY busy. Sad it wasn't meant to be. I'm eternally grateful for what Aaliyah left behind though. Much love to EMPRESS JANET! 👑❤️
@@danavixen6274 Yep, Janet the legendary Empress of Pop. And the Princess of R&B, Aaliyah. The collaboration would have been amazing, and I still miss Aaliyah all the time, but I'm still so grateful that Janet is still with us, the Empress.
@@guitar_roker3590 I have just about everything from Miss Janet. She's my favorite female pop LEGEND! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Forever rest easy R&B Princess Aaliyah. 😔🙏🏾❤️
@@danavixen6274 Yep, the Velvet Rope is one of my favorite albums of all time, my favorite Janet album. Ms. Jackson is the Empress, a legend, I will always have so much love for her. I know Aaliyah is smiling in heaven, I can live easy knowing whether Aaliyah was still alive today, or in heaven, she will always be smiling regardless, because that's just the angelic and amazing person she is. I still know she is in a place where she can rest and continue to smile upon us while giving us great strength with her spirit in life when we need it, sometimes when I go through hard times in life, I do believe it is Aaliyah's spirit who gives me strength, as well as Janet who's lyrics are so inspiring and socially conscious, Janet's Velvet Rope album helped me so much with self esteem, she is a goddess to me. I will forever worship Janet while she is still with us and continue to listen to both her music, as well as Aaliyah's music which her legacy has continued to live on and will for decades to come. Forever two of the most godly and influential r&B legends of all time, Aaliyah and Janet.
