Thank you for this video! I purchased this machine a couple of years ago from Costco, and have been ill and unable to sew. Thankfully I am better now, and am ready to get back to it! The stitch in mode 1 seem to pull off to the right slightly. Could you possibly let me know what to adjust or how to repair it.
I have Singer machines and last year I got a Janome embroidery machine that I fell in love with the quality. Now I want to replace my Singer machines for one Janone . Which one would you recommend? How is it for shipping to The Netherlands?
Could you please show the finer tips and tricks of the DC780, ir are they the same but with more fancy stitches. Sadly, I did we not get an extension table with the 780.
When you showed the finished seams, could you put the fabric closer to the camera ? Actually the camera need to be closer to the machine. It’s a bit far right now. Thank you!

Why did I waste my time watching this video when I'm "supposed to look it up?" The reason I watch these videos is to find out information about the machine.
You take the ankle off the machine and attach the walking foot with the same screw and with the arm of the walking foot above the needle clamp screw. It is a low shank 7mm machine so you need to ask a dealer for that walking foot. Any Jnaome Dealer can assist you with that if you tell them what model you have. t
I see that for several of the overcast/serge type stitches you use a stabilizer. Is that something that is necessary when using these stitches? If so, what product would disintegrate in the wash? Just got my machine yesterday and would like to start using those feet. Thank you so much.
We love Madeira stabilizers! They have types that wash away or there are ones that will tear away. Madeira has a sample pack of their stabilizers which will let you play around and find the one you like best. Talk to your local Janome dealer and they can help you out.
We have this machine and we have problems with the stitches in mode 1, they are not straight after each other, they are slightly angled to the side. Any ideas?
