My youngest son dealt with the same skin stuff in winter time. The only thing that finally worked for him was equal parts raw Shea butter +coconut oil. Melted down and I added some lavender oil. Put it on twice a day, kept it away! I use it on dry patches on my skin and his still, and he’s almost 5! Maybe that’ll rid your little guy of his skin dryness. 🥰
