Thank you for all the fun videos, youre giving me a lot of ideas for my trip in spring 2025! Our friend is in the US Navy and is stationed about an hour and a half southwest of Tokyo so our entire friend group is going to visit in a year and a half. Definitely going to Tokyo, my friends all desperately want to go to Disney Sea lol. Maybe we will also visit the China town in yokohama! I want to go to hakone and Osaka as well. It will be my third time in Japan, their first. so I am certain I will be doing Kyoto again haha. Thank you for the hours upon hours of entertainment, go enjoy a nice lunch on me :) I am 27 and have been fortunate to be able to travel to several countries, Japan is by far my favorite. Your country is a beautiful place! I love everything there except the jetlag... 13 hour time difference from where i Live in the USA. My girlfriend and I were in Sapporo for the snow festival this past february it was AMAZING, but the jet lag was really tough on both of us, You are an awesome person, have a great weekend and thank you again for the great content :)
Arigatooo Shawnt! Sweet, in 2025! Best wish for your wonderful Tokyo and Yokohama trip. And also Disney Sea too, Fantasy Spring (new area) would be there, so will be more fun!😆 Haha, yes Jet lag, I always struggling with jet lag too when I was a student studying in the States. Ganbatte😂👍
@@thenarrativefilmmaker470 The two Gachapon that captured his heart have one thing in common: white rice cakes. His love for Gachapon is so strong that he is willing to risk missing his flight.✈️🏃💨😂👍
Oh, yeah Tokyo banana will always be a fave omiyage of mine. So sweet of your parents to have fetched you at the airport when you were still young.😊Your great smile showed how much you'd enjoyed the airport's tent camping experience! Rion, when are you going to your brother's hair salon?😄
Nice sight of the Mt Fuji on the plane. Does that reminiscing your one day hike or it's a nightmare that you want to forget? Interesting twist to the typical Dorayaki with such a thin piece of mocha and fruits between the pancakes. Hopefully, you can show us more of OSAKA Xmas decorations soon. The Kaiseidon is really cheaper than Tsukiji. I am more intrigued with the Marron Tamago haha. Enjoy your time at your hometown
Wow, Mt. FUJI under the snow from the sky, what an experience! The whole trip including the flight seemed to be so relaxing, especially "camping" in the Kansai Airport in the end. Really so much fun to watch. Happy to hear that you plan to revisit Kyoto. I wonder if tourist invasion there is still existing. Looking forward to new virtual advantures. Stay safe, healthy and in best Christmas mood! GAAOOOO......
Love your inter-city travel videos. The dessert counters at Tokyo station looked meccha oishi. I want to shop there one day. Arigatougozaimasu, Rion, for sharing your journey and brightening my day with your video. 👍Your upcoming videos from Osaka will be fun to watch. Tanoshimidesu. Omedetougozaimasu, 165K subscribers! 👍✈
37:45 When I saw this on your IG story, I really thought you went straight away to a camping site in Osaka to do a camping video 😂 And that aerial shot of Mt. Fuji is awesome ✨ Also, there’s something that I want to clarify, on 25:31 you said “thinking of bus ticket price and train ticket price in Osaka, it will be similar price”. Did you mean that if we combined the bus ticket price and the air fare price, it will be similar to the Shinkansen price? Or do you mean something else? 😅 Sorry if I wasn’t able to understand it 🙇♀️ As always, thank you so much for another travel update! Definitely this will help us for our future trips in Japan 😊 Can’t wait for another Kansai Let’s Keep Walking adventures! 🦁 Take care and God bless! 🙏
Woah, that view of Mt. Fuji was gorgeous. The updates to Kansai airport look awesome. I can see myself taking a nap in the green room's tent and missing a few flights 😂😅😆 It seems so cozy, like a cocoon away from the hussle and bussle😊 Looks like you are adapting well to the change of season. You are wearing the long sleeve version of your white tees. Nice. Is that fron Uniqlo? Thanks for the update!
It is amazing that they have that kind of area at the paid lounge because usually (based on my knowledge), they only have lounge chairs and/or lazy-boy chairs so it’s kind of refreshing to see that kind of area that is not only for kids but it’s available for everyone 😊 👍
That green room looks like the perfect place for families to chill before their flight 💚 Haha, I didn’t realize Rion had white long sleeves cuz so used to only seeing his black outerwear 😂
Nice and big airport, Rion san. Beautiful place in Osaka. I've ever been travelled to Osaka, too. LCC flight is also good. Thank you for your information and have a good day.
Love the videos you made at the airport especially Osaka airport. The Kansai airport changes is huge compared to my last visit before covid times. Always love raw eggs in Japan and they tasted so sweet! It's a must have in Japan! Thank you for the wonderful detailed airport video. Loving it! Looking forward to Osaka region video :)
Wow… For me, that hidden spot beats all the waiting areas in Haneda ✨ And 551 Horai is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted in my life. 🤯 P.S. The FF7 battle victory music was playing in my head when you made it to the gate. 😂🎶✨
Great video! However I would've taken the Shinkansen to Osaka. Taking the bus and navigating the airport is just a lot of work. Thanks for making the video though. This is good information!
Rion, thanks for the updates! Couple of recommendations. On your next trip to Osaka, try Skymark airlines. They are also a LCC, but I think baggage is included in the ticket. Also they fly out of Haneda airport. Our flight experience between Okinawa and Nagoya and Kobe has been very good. Just a thought.
rions video is never dissapoint me, friday morning eating light breakfast and some hot coffee is a must when watching rions video, otsukare rionn arigaooo!!!!! love from indonesia
Just booked my 9th trip from Australia to Japan yesterday and my March return flight this time is the same route, Narita/Osaka/Brisbane ! So great to see you moving through the steps. I ate in the same restaurant in the Kansai Airport on my November trip last month, 1st time to KIX .. The Salted Buri Collar was soooooo good 😋 LUV your vids Rion
While LCC flights oftentimes are cheaper than the Shinkansen, for the environment it is definitely better to take the train over a shorthaul flight. Anyway, seeing Fuji up close from the airplane is definitely an awe-inspiring sight. I got very close once when I went to Okinawa. But that was in summer, so no snow on the top.
Thank you for the informative vid. I'm traveling to Japan in March 2024 and because of your peach vid decided to avoid them for my detour to Okinawa. I'm glad that jetstar is more reasonable, wish you let us know how much it would have costed to have over 7kg for the carry on.
I think LCC's make sense and save money ONLY if you fly into Narita and then immediately fly to Osaka KIX. For 2 people with 2 luggage each (one 7kg carry-on and one 15 kg Checked bag for each person). If you try going into Tokyo....the time and hassle it takes to get back to narita on top of the additional transportation costs make it way less appealing than just taking the shinkansen....at that point LCC wont be saving you much money....Downside to LCC is that they ONLY fly out of Narita and not Haneda for some reason.... However its true that for Japanese residents shorthaul flights flying solo + taking bus to narita does save you money.
Salmonella poisoning is a lot worse than a stomach ache haha. Rion, I believe it is because western farmers dont clean the chicken coops the way japanese farmers do. It is less sanitary so theres a chance for bacteria to get into the egg, which is why we always cook our eggs :) Also, what is the difference between Umai, Oishi and Mecca Oishi?
I had raw egg for the first time Japan! It was mechha oishi. In the US there are raw egg recipes like Cesar’s salad dressing from the past but now it is not safe because of salmonella. Looks like lots of shopping and eating at Narita. When I went through Haneda and KIX there was a lot of construction so not so fun
Do you have any recommendations as to nice ferry rides in the inland sea, maybe between Osaka and Beppu or something? Sometimes it's hard to find good information about those as a foreigner . Oh, and maybe print a large image of your own face with a lion's mane on your check-in luggage so you can always find it on the luggage belt :)
I'm planning to visit japan on late january-early february and I'm from tropical country so I don't own heavy jacket, do you reckon it will be easy to buy one once I arrive or do I need to buy before travelling?
