@@suggestedtigerr1151 When people are too loud about their evangelism, I think about Matthew Chapter 6. Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. TL;DR, keep the faith, but shut the fuck up about it.
Because the bone in chicken is larger to make up for it, this is japan we’re talking about not America, they don’t cheap out, there’s no greaseball Roman’s there lol better value especially at Lawson my fav
That smol bird is responsible for singlehandedly relocating a small island nation's inhabitants to an undisclosed safe zone located deep within international waters. Leave Ezekiel alone - he's doing his best adjusting back to civilian life.
I agree completely. I love the Famichiki, but the Nanachiki is just so well seasoned, I really prefer it. The one thing I will say, though, is that the Nanachiki seems to be more inconsistent from location to location than the Famichiki. I’ve never been to a FamilyMart where the food in the hot case wasn’t perfect, but I’ve been to several 7-Elevens where the Nanachiki was dry as bone and clearly either overcooked or left out in the heater too long.
I've definitely had a range of quality in famichiki. They're never BAD, but you can definitely tell when they're fresh versus when they've been in the hot case for a couple hours. The one he got here looks like it was probably pretty fresh; those are the super juicy greasy ones.
Outside are the Cuccos from Legend of Zelda only they've already been hit three times. They are trying to break down the door and slaughter the sole inhabitant.
The best is spicy Lawson chiki actually!! It's the juiciest of them all and i lowkey ate it everyday for a good month... They also have two fried non spicy versions and a grilled one. They're all stunning.
LAWSONS THO. When we were in Okinawa it was so hot we could only leave the hotel for brief periods of time if it didn't involve water so we lived from Lawsons pretty much, and their chicken is incredible, we gotta know what you think of it!
The first chicken is like $1.50 in USD, while the second one from 7/11 is about $1.64USD. That's actually probably cheaper than what we'd get them for here in the US, and they honestly look like they're of a better quality than here, too.
Such an obscure reference, but now I cant stop thinking about the bird named Ezekiel from Starkid Productions ‘Nightmare Time’. I hope i am not alone in this
Nanachiki is actually pretty recent. 7-11 has always had fried chicken of course, but they switched from "fried chicken" to "nanachiki" about 5-6 years ago. I honestly preferred the previous version. Also where is the Lawson chicken?!
went to Japan once and on the first night i went to a 7 11 and omg the employees where so kind and friendly and the fried chicken was so nice and crispy and all of this at 3 in the morning 10/10 :)
As far as I'm concerned if you're able to get delicious fried chicken at a reasonable price practically any time of day from somewhere, then that always makes you the winner. Yum 😋
Honestly agreed. I thought Id love Famichiki more but 7-Eleven chicken is just great. And the seasoning is often better if you get the black pepper one. Just wish the packaging was better ;;
The "process-ness" of Famichicki is probably just an extra step of flatting of the chicken thigh before cutting. It's not really the bad kind of processing people think of. *Disclaimer I'm a team Famichicki. The juiciness is unparalleled.
Perfectly timed review, I grabbed a fried chicken last night to mix with my rice and altho Familymart is on my usual route, yesterday I was near 711 and grabbed their pepper garlic. It had an odd edge of slight sweetness somewhere in the crust but it had a nice kick to it, was pretty tasty, and more importantly, was great with rice and egg. But I was wondering how the 2 brands compared! XD
Lol, i dunno man. From what I've recently started learning about birds thru Casual Geographic's channel, your birdie friend probably wanted a nipple or two to help you determine which of the two chicken choices was better eaten
