Okay so you can try khichdi( hotchpotch in english and Indian dish) indian mothers make this often when someone is sick Recipe: 1. In a pressure cooker add ghee and then roast some cumin and bay leaf for a few second or until the aroma hits you 2. Add finely chopped ginger garlic and roast them till they are golden 3. Add tomatoes and saute them for a few minutes. Add turmeric(1/2 teaspoon), salt to taste, chilli powder, cumin amd coriander powder(1/2 teaspoon each), cumin and coriander powder is optional and saute them. 4. Add veggies like carrots, peas, potatoes etc and saute them 5. Wash the lentils and rice throughly( i know you won't) 6. Add it to the pressure cooker. Add 4 cups of water and mix them well. Pour 4 cups of water for porridge like consistency. 7. Cover the pressure cooker. On a medium flame pressure cook till 4 whistle for soupy consistency (easy to swallow as fever may cause throat pain). 8. After 4 whistle let the pressure cooker release its pressure naturally and then you can have your khichdi and you can garnish it with more ghee. GET WELL SOON ❤❤

i also have a cottage cheese dessert recipe!! put 1 cup of cottage cheese and 1 cup of dates in the blender, you can add some cream or coconut milk to make it more liquidy if need be and i also like to add a squeeze of honey and a pinch of cinnamon!! it's SOO good like a creamy rich mousse, especially if you serve it with walnuts on top

my Tita always makes Caldo de Pollo on rainy, cold days, or when we're sick with the flu. it's basically a Mexican chicken soup. i don't have her recipe, but it's supposed to be a savory, opaque broth with little visible beads of oil on top. my Tita makes it with boiled chicken (she doesn't shred it. whole ass parts of chicken), cilantro, carrots, celery, squash, tomato, cabbage, and halves of potatoes. you're supposed to eat it with (Mexican) rice. some people make the rice in the broth, but my Tita makes it separately and stores it separately so it doesn't turn into porridge in the leftovers (in my opinion, the OPTIMAL way to do it). you add the rice into your bowl of broth, then i like to squeeze some lime into it. my mom likes to eat it with some boiled onion and cabbage with salt and lime on the side. literally the best soup in the world. i'd love to see you (crudely) make it. hope you get better soon :)
