Back in 2015, at the FINA World Championships in Kazan, we had an incredible Team Technical final in Artistic Swimming that was all emotional. While Russia claimed the gold medal and China got second, Team Japan came in last to win the bronze medal with an outstanding and beautiful performance that led to tears. Beautiful performance, wow, the synchronized swimmers are not only superbly athletic but also have such beautiful lungs, I was a rescue swimmer with US special forces but this ladies are miles ahead of me, GOD bless them

Like every other guy watching 8 identically outfitted young women with most of their hind quarters hanging out and doing splits with their crotches barely covered. I think they know what kind of looks they are going to receive. Incredible athletes for sure, but costumes can be designed in order to avoid ‘creepy camera angles’.

This is a very difficult sport to master. With that being said, I am proud of my country's 🇺🇸 performances good bad or indifferent. Do your very best and forget about the rest! After all, YOUR IN THE OLYMPICS!! YOU MADE IT!! 🇺🇸👏👏👏 stay safe everyone and God bless!

This was in 2015. It was the national Championship. Oh, and they came close this year to going to the Olympics. But they didn't qualify.

What I appreciate more in Japan is the emotion that they show as if they won the gold...huge respect for that!...For me that's more than enough...Such wonderful swimmers! All of them

As a mom of a synchro swimmer I decided to try it for myself and found out it’s literally ballet, in the water, the core strength needed is beyond imaginable. While holding my breath. I did have the privilege of seeing the Olympic team perform in person, it was unforgettable.

Amazingly beautiful, full of power! However, this isn't the Olympics but a competition to increase chances to get the chance to be in the Olympics. The gold, silver, bronze medals can be confusing but this was in 2015 in Kazan! The next up is men's, also in Kazan 2015.

I still remember this, I had folks who were swimmers, and I sincerely believed the Japanese team won the gold after watching the performance. A tough way to go but at least they still scored Bronze,

I do cry watching the Olympics without participating. I imagine the strong emotions athletes feel daily. Everyone was amazing with great music as well as designs in the outfits and hair styles. I certainly loved each performance in all areas of dancing, tempo and movement. Brilliant work..

Artistic Swimming must be removed from Olympic games. Artistic Swimming makes teenage boy nose bleeding. BTW, why there are no boys in Artistic Swimming?

Excuse me? This is one of the most hardest sports out there, like you can't touch the bottom of the pool. These ladies give their everything for this sport, and then people like you say stuff like that. You're allowed to have your opinion, but if it offends others please keep it for yourself. Think before commenting. And there are boys, but that's a different event
