In Japan, the fish that can be caught depends on the region and season. I'm a Japanese living in Kanagawa, but I've never had sashimi with a tail head of humphead parrotfish. It looks so blue that I'm confused.
I use them to help me sleep at night. My insomnia is off the chain. There's just something about the background noises like the crowd in the background, the utensils making contact with various surfaces, the filming techniques used i.e. close inspection of the subject. Close focus, the handling of the food, showing it off slowly. No one blabbering about what they're doing or way they're doing it, no obnoxious techno, or dubstep music in the background (which I'm not against and DO like, but ya know? Some vids with it are SO annoying!) you're in the moment. It reminds me of a skill used in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Mindfulness. These vids are actually a great companion for dbt, cbt (cognitive behavioral therapy.) It's really nice and calming. I guess it depends on the REASON one likes these vids and keep coming back to them FOR that REASON. Looks like there's a few folks who agree that the vid does infact have a relaxing quality, but can't quite put a finger on just what that quality is. All of these visuals and back ground sounds have qualities that are relaxing or calming for some people. There are even apps that come with some of these sounds meant to relax and calm you. Even down to the low level mumbling sounds of a crowd in public. Cheers to +Travel Thirsty. You might have found a new market with folks who are over stimulated and stressed with everyday grind of LIFE.
Es lo mismo que si le diera una pintura de Vincent van Gogh a mí sobrino para que dibujara por encima. Ese Pez era una obra majestuosa del evolucionismo natural.
Most incredible tasting fish I have EVER tasted! Because they live on pristine coral reefs and ONLY eat coral their flesh is prized for being so clean, and white, and firm ... I personally think it tastes more like lobster tail than fish! It's considered to be a great delicacy .. gorgeous! In Australia they are called a "Doubleheader", and are found only in waters where there's pristine coral reefs, and the one pictured in this film is actually too small!! We have very strict size and bag limits on most reef fish for sustainability reasons .. responsible fishing practices are of ultra importance! But if you ever get the opportunity to, do try it!
I chose one from a little fish market in Coron, Philippines. It was cooked on a little boat by our guide and brought to me and my wife on a beautiful secluded cove. It always stands out but White Marlin is definitely a fish to be tried
@@manbaby3801 What is the purpose of this comment? Please explain it to me. I see comments like these a lot and i have no idea why people say such thing. Please explain, please i am begging you

Ok, i still don't understand but it's not because you didn't explain it to me, it just does not make sense in my opinion, if you think this does make sense then ok, you can, but i just don't get it ok
@@callewaertbjorn5241 This is the stupidest thing I have read, Asians do not create diseases or viruses, the plague would have been created by Asians? the coronavirus too ?! lmao. Diseases and viruses create themselves not by asians. Your comment is Racist in my opinion and that's repulsive But have a nice day, i hope i didn't misundertood your comment, sarcasm is hard to read on a screen-_-
@@Cs-pf8kd es que uno espera un sabor distinto o peculiaridad y SERÍA MEJOR que disminuyera el consumo de este pez para que también disminuyera su pesca
@@nicholascave3012 it is food. Just cause you're used to McDonald's on your street corner doesnt make it a worldwide thing. People have different ways that they eat, especially coastal places that only have access to fishing.
What bothers me is the slightly insensitive "Oh asians eat all of the fish in the ocean ahahah funny" joke comments that I've been seeing on here and I hate it.
That humphead's eyes are very sunken in, which means it's not very fresh. He must have got a bargain basement price for it. It is, of course, always good to have your dinner staring back at you as you consume it.
Wah, such great job for having a fish done in three dfferent way ! Fried , steamed & baked wirh different. Wish i can do that for my family , sure they will enjoy eating ! Tks for showing .
Evan I went to Inyo National Park in CA not too long ago and there is this area called the Devils Postpile. It’s a columnar basalt rock formation that has formed over time. I hiked to the very top of that area and the top looks like an enormous tortoise shell! The top of these columns are PERFECTLY hexagonal! In nature the hexagon is the ideal shape to make similar to these fish scales, tortoise shells, and basalt columns at Devils Postpile. It’s very interesting. I just thought you’d be interested in that. Nature is quite specific.
There are only 3 shapes you can use and get a “full packing” in nature. Triangles, squares, and hexagons. The skin made hexagons for the same reason honeycomb in beehives are hexagons. It’s an efficient shape to absorb stress, and fully occupy a space.
