This has got to be one of my favourite videos you've done so far! Been learning Japanese through Duolingo for the past month or so, and getting to hear someone speak the language at a slower pace and clearly, talking about simple things is really wonderful, especially as someone who is just starting. Was able to pick out exact words and some basic things you were talking about just from listening. As well getting to see a tiny bit of Japan is nice too! I hope you do more of these "Everyday Japanese" videos like this in the future. Thank you Mai!
Mai さん、こんにちは。 Thanks for an excellent video ! Not only a chance to listen to and learn some Japanese, but also to see some great scenery in Fukushima ! I visited some other areas of Fukushima last October and it really is an amazing prefecture ! ありがとうございました。
I'm practicing speaking by pausing the video to repeat everything you say out loud so the subtitles are definitely useful. If a sentence is hard to say, I repeat it multiple times. This is an interesting way to learn new words too.
I'm sorry for your loss. Radiation in Fukushima is still very deadly and the food is 100% contaminated for the next 30 years. Cancer is inevitable.....
