Japanese Breakfast - Glider (Summer Game Fest 2021) 

Seeing Michelle and Japanese Breakfast get more exposure is so damn exciting. Great performance.

Michelle said that this was her favourite song she had ever written and I UNDERSTAND

When Japanese Breakfast came to Minneapolis a couple years ago Michelle said during the concert that she wasn't happy about her performance last time she was in the city, but the showgowers were still great about it. She played Glider this time and she nailed it, you could see how happy she was. I was glad to be there.

I love those peculiar, modulated vocal-like synths that start playing from 1:30... reminds me of some of Clams Casino's work. The innocent-sounding, cascading light tones that play throughout the entire track also remind me of the ones in Posing in Bondage. It is really apparent from her recent releases that she is moving away from spacious guitar-centric compositions to evocative synths/midi based ones. Can't wait for the soundtrack to be released!

First time I heard this song was after the prologue. I'm so thankful for hearing this song at the PERFECT moment. Fell in love with her voice, fell in love with the game and fell in love with the song all at once. That experience was added to my short list of moments that gave me indescribable feelings of hope, joy, and happiness in gaming. Reminded me why I love video games, several art forms coming together to provide unforgettable experiences ❤

the graphics on the game were correct.... but they didn't match Michelle Z, R.S. OSDz performance, which was so far beyond approved or declined that this just dumbed her down. for a balanced example of beyond sound and visuals, see EarthGang's "Top Down " (unless ur Lisa H. then good luck), or anything by David Free and the Lil' Homie... Also really anything by EarthGang... stop fucking around and collaborate with your sister, in Christ. Better yet. Stop fucking around and just release It already, ugh.
