i learned that both english and japanese use the word "使う/use" to say use money. its so cool hearing real conversations, its worlds different than what you would learn in a text book. thanks again Yuusuke!

One of the best resources for intermediate Japanese learners, keep it up I pick up so many useful words and grammar points that people actually use in a daily conversation. Edit: I actually attended the races you mentioned at 8:47 , I talked about it with my friend yesterday. It's so much fun!!

@@moshimoshi.yusuke I met some guys at an Izakaya in Ikebukuro and they asked me to join them and we went there together the next weekend! Super cool place, but the police ended up shutting it down so we moved it to somewhere closer to Zushi! Definitley worth a visit, and I'm saying this as a person who is really not interested in cars!

I'm very interested in the Tokyo Loop Racers, so thanks for the chat about them as well as for the video link (which I went to watch intently). I wanted to go see the loop racers the last time I was in Japan, but missed the chance so I will definitely go next time (probably next summer). There were also many hilarious parts in this video, like Ken-san wearing the sunglasses and Yusuke-san teasing Ken-san about his sandals, plus when Ken-san said he wasn't a kawaii girl!!! I was dead!!!! And also the tone he used when he said "zenzen" about looking like a celebrity. Anyway, hilarious! Thank you, keep up the good work.

Thank you for reminding me about the law, and I certainly don’t want to break any law or be involved in any crime. Isn’t the parking and rest area public though? It seems that ordinary people were going about their business and just happened to see all the amazing cars and drivers. Didn’t the video mention a viewing platform? To be honest, I hope there is a high rise Michelin restaurant along the route from which I can enjoy the race car views while indulging in French or Italian cuisine and drinks. 🤩🤩🤩🤩

@W.W. Sak Beh I don't know much about that. Daikoku parking and its rest area is a public space, so it's free for us. But French or Italian cuisine? Sorry, but don't expect anything like that. It is not that elegant. Hopefully, I hope you are interested in another Japanese goodness...

Thank you so much for this video! It was a pleasure to watch. :D Most Americans have a joking personality, we like to laugh. I grew up in a family that enjoyed pranking other family members. Oh the stories I could tell about our family reunions! I concur with you that pranks can "go to far" and I'm not attracted to those types of shows or content. Additionally I was surprised that yourself and Ken have the same youtube consumption as myself (language learning and music). I like to see your face to gauge how certain words are pronounced, or at least approximate them. I enjoy your interviews with "Sayuri Saying", that is how I found this channel. :D You and Ken have inspired me to consider creating an English (American) channel to help language learners, however I'm guessing there are already a lot of those types of channels. Although I don't know how many use comprehensible input, (I'm a fan of Stephen Krashen's work)

Useful as usual, thank you for posting! いつか日本で運転したいです。Just one comment: in English you don't say "variety show" but a comedy show. That's a direct translation that doesn't work in English ;)

5:27 : What is the nuance of 作業する? For example, why did Ken say 作業する instead of 働く?

作業 means the action in the middle of working. It focuses on "the actions" at work. It's often used when the work is monotonous and repetitive. It does NOT necessarily mean income-generating acts. 働く is all about working. It means primarily income-generating acts.

こんにちは、ゆうすけさん。Even though you seem to be friends, I notice you still use です a lot, and not だ。例えば、｢そうですよね｣とか、｢ですけど｣とか、｢ありますけど｣と言いました。Is this because you are also thinking of the audience, or are you both not that close, or is it that you prefer this over plain form verbs, or some other reason? I wonder why. Thank you for your videos.

こんにちは！ I was not thinking about the audience. There is no particular deep reason. I am an office worker, so I speak in honorifics every day. Well... but I don't use honorifics for my mother. In my opinion, it is a child who cannot use honorifics even though he/she is Japanese. And my way of speaking is that of a typical Tokyo businessperson, so I would like you guys to refer to my adult way of speaking.
