most of asian people dislike spicy food u had an exchange student in my school from korea and I offered her hot chettos and she said she doesn’t eat spicy food. I was in shock all I eat is spicy food
Well, wasabi isn't so much "spicy" as it is "pungent". In the amounts that come in things like sushi by default, you usually don't get that burning sensation in your nose. I've read in numerous places that most people in Japan don't like wasabi in the amount that burns your nose - I can't confirm because I don't live there, but that seems to be the consensus from the people that have. I imagine it's a lot like the way we in the US would use horseradish. Although, if you're looking for places that do have a lot of spicy food, you're thinking of Thailand and India. Thailand's most popular foods are stir-fry dishes, usually involving Thai Chilis in some form, and India has many spicier dishes, such as curries and chilis.
Well as a Japanese, I grew up eating sour and salty pickles with rice. I am used to salty food. I never ate too much sweet stuff. If I did eat sweet stuff I usually ate very little. Im not used to sweetness. I don’t know if other Japanese relate too.
I literally drink dr pepper every day. I think it's more of a southern thing. I know ppl up north don't even usually have it even in restaurants(or ranch dressing) what nerve!!
@@TexasAndyAquatics - I grew up near the Canadian border. I've been drinking Dr. Pepper my whole life, it's still my favorite. When I was a kid finding it in restaurants was hit or miss, now it's very common. Ranch dressing is a must have.
exactly, Twinkies are terrible and i never see anyone eat or buy them. I would have preferred to see them try a rice crispy treat or the chocolate hostess cupcakes
@@mariobroseins not sure if you got confused or what but no one is saying they dont. we both just said if thats what they compair dr pepper to (something we consider tasting good) medicin (something that does not taste good) we want to see what they drink that taste so much better. get it now?
(for some reason my comment got censored, so i'm gonna say it again) "i love it" when people observed japanese like an zoo animal. "oh, look, they so polite yityat" "oh, everythings clean in there" "oh, is so much better to live there" 1. Ever heard of honne and tatemae? 2. Saw a japanese man put out a cigarette by stepping on it and leaving it on the street. 3. Overwork and everyone feeling lonely like you cant truly connect with a japanese person Look im not saying they are bad. All im saying is stop worshipping japan
Wow. Is this TRYING to make them hate American stuff? Serving them warm drinks, and cold poptarts. TF? Imagine drinking warm beer. It wouldn't get a good impression either.
PattyMayonnaise that blasphemous haha. But seriously, I have to eat mine heated up for about 15 seconds in the microwave. Makes them taste a ton better I think. Especially the smores pop tarts. Cold they taste pretty meh to me, but heated up its awesome
@@MrJimbo327 Nah mate, Im from europe and I dont drink anything other than cold beer. Sure if a beer is straight from the store, its possible. But preferred cold.
Love Japanese lemon bubble gum. Also, they have this cute little wafer cookie thing with strawberry creme and chocolate in it. I had it once and it was amazing so I went to the Asian market and found more.
I'm japanese and lived in tokyo for 6 years and to be honest, the reason why so few youtubers actually do this is because.....yeah majority of the sweets in japan for 1, you have to make if yourself, and 2, it tastes like shit.... yeah not even kidding.... i dont regret moving to america.... but some are actually nice....though its like a needle in a hay stack filled with angry poisonous snakes ready to bite anything that accidently touches it...im trying to say thats its rare.
@@Naomihere it's not a dumb reaction at all... It makes sense that they would be able to communicate their thoughts better in their native language than English.
sheddinglove s this comment is the dumbest I’ve read all day. If your native tongue is english, and you’re in china and know a little bit of chinese, would you not be able to better express yourself in english than chinese? These people would’ve been able to go more in-depth about why they liked it or hated.
As a Mexican American who grew up in a Mexican home with only Mexican food and snacks, I can assure you most of these foods are acquired tastes (with the exception of go-gurt). I remember trying all these foods for the first time because of my friends and HATING them. I only grew to like them because I was exposed to them time and time again. Now nothing sounds as comforting as sitting down with a bag of hot cheetos and a Twinkie. Except for Dr.Pepper. I hated dr.pepper for most of my life until I got a craving for something extremely sweet one day and my sister had some in the fridge. I drank it and then just started liking it from there. Now I’m in Japan and when I don’t like something, I try it again a few months later to see if it’s also an acquired taste. Many things are and I’ve also grown to like food here I didn’t like at first.
@@yolandamarcial-neri5530 You have more of a chance to get type two diabetes from eating tons of junk food. Type one is considered a auto immune disease. Diabetes has technically has three different types. The third one has nothing to do with the pancreas and insulin, but with not being able to keep yourself hydrated at all. Has a longer name too.
to be completely fair you have to grow up eating those spicy things. I remember when i was seven my sister handed me a small bag when we were on our way to school and i ran to the closest water fountain because my mouth was burning. Having eaten them from time to time I developed a resistance to the regular ones but now they have a spicier flavor that is in a black bag and man those things were practically forged in a volcano. I'm not surprised that the cheetah says, "It's not easy being cheesy" because that guy had to go from cheese to spicy cheese and now they got him eating the xtra spicy.
@@ForsakenPixel Since when are regular hot cheetos spicy lol. I have not once thought that they were. Note: I grew up eating regular cheetos, and thought jalepeños were a curse from hell. Hot cheetos were never spicy. Idk maybe im just weird. Although nowadays I eat korean death noodles on a regular basis, so I have a bit of a tolerance for capsaicin developed in recent years.
because who the hell thinks of toasting a random snack you've bought at a grocery store? No one even has any idea this should be done in the first place since it's so bizarre and random. I imported them once, hated them. Then found out you need to toast them. Imported again, toasted, and still hated. Your snacks all taste like cancer (except reese's cups and hostess ding dongs)
@@HaohmaruHL I could care less about the second part of your comment because that's your personal taste. However pop tarts are a toaster pastry and they always have been 😂. Im pretty sure it says it on the box too so you buying it twice is on you.
@@Xer405 only English speakers, predominantly americans, watch anime dubbed. You're the minority. English dub is just your local version and that's it. Just like sole Arabic dub or German dub for TV broadcasts so children could follow. Nothing more.
Apparently in Japan their medicine is flavored using various roots, which is why root beer and Dr. Pepper taste like medicine to them. It's the same reason why mint tastes like medicine to us, all our medicines are flavored using mint.
メンマ Menma Arts wrong sir, wrong...wait...日本語できますか? (you can tell I can speak a little Japanese because Google Translate gives you something way different)
Food should of been : Oreos and milk Root Beer - cold Rocky Road Ice cream Mozzarella sticks Hot Wings Spicy sweet chili doritoes Chilli Dogs with cheese Toll House chocolate chip cookies 😋 Ding Dongs Crumb Donuts And Nachos :)
I was thinking - some form of little debbies - hot chips (Cheetos, fries, puffs) - gummies some sort of sour gummy - sprite, mt dew,Pepsi, coca cola - Reese’s - Oreos - and some random convince store junk
the nostalgia hits so hard with these treats. i remember when people would have a go gurt or a twinkie in their lunch bag or box back then. maybe both if their parents were rich enough lol
If they think HOT CHEETOS are to mich I'd hate to see them try Takis; where i come from you LICK the powder off the chip, my younger sister eats them like Lays
Heh I used to be good at spicy food but I enjoy sweet stuff far more. Anyway have you tried Pepper Extract, tried one with nearly a 3 million scoville rating basically shooting pepper spray in my mouth. This was at my highschool and like 30 people were in the bathrooms trying to get water, the fountain was full and the cafeteria was handing out milk. Paramedics were also called and I never had sinuses that freed up. Ah good times. Was suspended for 2 days lok
Crystal Hernandez I think the main problem with these types of videos is most American brands are worldwide like Coca-cola, McDonald’s, Hershey, Reese’s, you know the things people actually snack on here. So they have to resort to exclusively American snacks which is why on these video you’ll most likely see Twinkies, twizzlers, pop tarts, flaming hot Cheetos, and other things Americans don’t actually eat that often.
You don't drink Dr pepper after having sweets it just changes the flavor, plus it looked hot. And hot Cheetos with cheese is what they should have tried or Chester's hot fries would have been better.
I remember my first problem when I moved to US in my early 20s. Couldn’t stand peanut butter at all. Now you have to hide those reeses from me. The few things I still don’t like is sponge like bread and weak coffee in giant cup.
I feel like she lowkey thought marvel dude was cute cuz it seemed like she was waiting for his response to give one that matched, thought it was cute tho 😂
After watching a bunch of these type of videos, I've learned that most non Americans dislike the same things: root beer and Dr Pepper, peanut butter, and Hershey's chocolate.
When they reached the flaming hot cheetos my inner Mexican was like "Cabron si ni pican esas chingaderas. Echale una salsa bien picosa y con limon. Anda ahi si se enchila uno." But then i remember they don't really eat spicy food growing up. So they are just not used to the heat.
I mean like....even a person who has never eaten anything spicy before would not have reacted the way they did. Like my friend back in 8th grade. That dumbass was missing out on an important piece on life until i forced him to eat some flamin hot cheetos and that bitch never stopped eating it. Its not like hot cheetos are even spicy. I could chug that shit down like a fuckin chug jug and my body would be free of cancer.
Not legitimately medicinal. Claims of being medicinal were a popular gimmick for soft drinks, and a few might have genuinely been so, but not Dr. Pepper.
they’re so respectful like whenever i watch these videos they try and say if they don’t like it in the sweetest way possible but americans on the other hand just straight up rude sometimes
Have you tried it with sugar instead of corn syrup? It’s almost a complete different game. You can get it in Texas or just find it on Amazon. Give it a try and you’ll never be the same.
