Do you think its worth putting much thoght into an 'optimal' base setup for further into the game? For the Japanese I'd imagine leaving as much space as possible for farms to be efficient; at the very least leaving most of the farms on the opposite side of TC(safer) and production/houses/tech in front

Hey Valdemar, could you make a short build order guide for the byzantines. They are quite complex with the 5th ressource and those mercenaries that you can get by oil.

9:55 2 villagers pop out of tc because after Daimyo is completed it doesnt spawn a vil it ques it seperate from your own que.

the tc "upgrade" (idk how you call it) spawns villagers I think

@@skilledslayer7342 it adds it to queue fully completed. If you have nothing in queue it spawns it immediately. If you have a queue it is placed at the end of the queue at 100%

I will be buying this game with the dlc when it comes out. I played aoe2 a lot and am curious of why the buildings are smaller than the units... was it ever mentioned why ?

Never mentioned why. Devs just chose to do that. They are in this next update are making the landmark and wonder buildings bigger to stand out more since that is victory conditions.

The buildings were taking the entire screen before they got reduced from 4x4 tiles size to 3x3, and larger buildings also means there is much less available space for your production. Even now the buildings are much bigger than buildings in AoE 2.

Don't you lose a farm by putting the age 2 landmark on the edge of your tc like that?

yes but he wants to use the tc upgrade for more harvesting rate upgrade this way it balances itself out well

as the dude before me said. You lose out on a farm, but then all your farms guaranteed are under the influence of the TC, meaning you get food quicker early.

Fast imps only really work outside of conqueror. I always teach people to imitate pro and semi pros as that should be your goal in order to get better :)

They do ok not well. If samurai rush spotted, I have to hope to have mass archer and even then they got the banner man. Best move is to harass and get villagers if possible but still rough.
