In this video I buy and install rear air bags to the 1996 4WD Mitsubishi Minicab Dump Truck.
The air bags are designed 'load assist' which means they do not replace the existing leaf springs but assist in adjusting the ride height of the truck according to the weight of the load being carried.
The air bag kit came from:

It must be tricky filming this. Thanks for sharing. Thinking about mini trucks versus utes. I’m thinking if a mini truck can do what is needed then they are a good option. The main tasks a mini truck could not do is driving long distances in comfort, hauling more than two people and also towing more than around 500kg. If one owns another vehicle to do these tasks then a mini truck would be very handy.

In Japan, when setting up a tent on the roof of a light truck, a stick is passed from the center of the roof of the driver's seat to the tail. That way, it acts like the roof of a house and keeps the cargo bed from getting wet with rainwater.

Did you consider removing the bump stop and placing the airbag where the bump stop was. Boss have added a smaller 2401 airbag. I have ordered the exact truck from the same place. Difference is a factory hard dump body and sides do not drop

I did cover this in the video. Would have been a perfect spot for the airbag. The bump stop support could be drilled out but I was worried about how it may affect the integrity of the chassis. I tried to find a small bag that I could put where the rubber on top of the spring was, but nothing that small was available. At the time the 2402 bag was the smallest. Hugo was good to deal with. love it but you should not put the airline on the axle side. Eventually the airlines will get worn out because of all the vibration of the axle.
