Those vending machines are so random, you'd not see such a thing anywhere else, it's really interesting see you walk through the whole line, and pointing out the weirdest things you find.
That was so fun and I would definitely make a day of it and go there for lunch and games. And I think you did have a bit of vintage style going on with your hair band and pearls, like a modern twist on Audrey Hepburn, so cute.
In America they have the old cigarette vending machines strewn about the country and you can get art out of them. They're called Art-o-Mats! If you're ever here again I encourage you to find one and get some art.
machida is my old town!! i miss living there over downtown tokyo because they have such nice parks and suburbs, but its far for a daily commute. fun fact; pallet town from pokemon was created with machida in mind because the creator was born/raised there!
It also reminds me of the gachpon type machines (idk what we called them but they were very similar) where you could get cheap plastic choker necklaces and other jewelry oh and temporary tattoos! It sure was a different time, that was in the late 90's early 00's and then I guess they slowly went out of fashion.
This is giving me so much nostalgia. In my primary school there was a vending machine in the assembly hall where we had to play if it was raining. It didn't work and I think it was from the 80's because the logos on the drinks looked old. We used to play with it and I always said I'd bring in money and plug it in to see if it still worked but I never did
I had the Tsukimi Sakuraco box last year. It was soooo good. The Tokyo treat one looks really good this time too. I wish I had the money to get it. They are expensive but so much fun! Worth it, if you can spare the money :)

Having seen this place several times in some other youtuber's videos, is it weird that it's unironically earned a place on my "top ten places I wanna visit if I ever go to Japan" list? For some reason that's beyond my ability to fully explain, I want nothing more than to eat a terrible vending machine hot dog at the side of a busy road whose ceaseless traffic is kicking up enough dust to make standing there almost unbearable. :p Hope you're doing fine Mikan!
