Hi Yamaha. I am in possession of what I believe to be the very first Yamaha CS-80 .. It does not have a serial number. anywhere on the unit. Also it has the same back panel difference compared to all other CS-80's as the one that was showcased at NAMMin 2018..The old gentleman I purchased it from purchased it from Ray Charles apparently. He had no reason to lie, but as Ray Chalres has passed away I have not been able to corroborate its provenance. It needs some work, which i am having done. Would you like to purchase it? I don't need to make a profit on it, and feel it needs to be in the hands of Yamaha, as it is your history. I have another CS-80 so I wont be without one. Best Regards, Adam Vincz
@@fuma7162 Yes. It finally went through being completely refurbished on the inside. It was in pretty bad shape. It took buying a n excellent condition CS-60 to use for parts and three years labor, but it's done. I also have purchased artist Peter Framptons CS-80 which was overhauled as well as part of the project. Will start posting about their fate soon on social media platforms.
