I love this interview because it helps me understand Sam and his decisions more. Cause I hate to admit it, but I was slightly upset with Sam that he didn't look for Dean. But there wasn't much he could've done anyway even he had looked. I can't really blame Sam for wanting to be done with the hunting life.
Thanks for the vid .. Love the impressions from Jared lol. You could see the diff btwn Jared/Sam. For somebody who likes to xtensively and funny @ the same time to someone playing gentle and pensive character- AWESOME!. Love you Jared!!
I love how it seems like he's really, genuinely enthusiastic about the show. You see some actors who just play a part for the sake of playing it but they don't really care much for it or for the production at all.
OMFG The purgatory flash backs are incredible!! The way it's shot, it really feels other dimensional and the way the Leviathan form!!! Then Sam and Amelia's conversations!! This season!!!!
I have a hole rant on this BUT SAM IS NOT A DICK.. Has learned that obsessing over Deaths the wrong way is what got the Apocalypses started.. Dean breaking the first seal.. Then Sam being vulnerable to Ruby because he was so emotional not able to cope. At this point he is like anytime we try to bring someone back from the dead we break the natural order and others die plus a whole bunch of horrible events ensue... Plus Sam thought he was dead he did not know he was in purgatory!
This has to have been the longest Jared’s hair ever was! I really found the storyline with Amelia interesting. I loved Eileen, but the show did a much better job of building a stronger backbone and history to the Sam/Amelia pairing. I wish there had been more Sam/Eileen that we had seen… I think that their texting back and forth could have been a greater opportunity to create a stronger foundation for their relationship. (Admission, I have a few more season 14 episodes I have not seen yet). PS The actress who played Amelia (Liane Balaban) did a great little film called “The New Waterford Girl”.
Aww! I haven't watched the whole season yet, my information comes from youtube and you lovely ppl on here. But plus side the new series starts over here on Wednesday (I made my friend change our movie plans for this. He wasn't please lol) Poor Kevin. I really hope Sam at least feels guilty by the end of the season!
i think at the end there he's talking about the men of letters/bunker storyline (which i love to death) but anyway this still really confuses me. i never understood this whole storyline to begin with and was finally starting to understand Sam and his decisions until I watched this. kind of made me more confused/upset. but idk this interview was pretty early on so maybe they hadn't read through all the pages yet. especially seeing as how we see sam and dean still choose each other when they come together in 8x10 and then obviously at the end in Sacrifice. and maybe the actors could never truly grasp what the writers were thinking of when they wrote the storyline. sigh guess i'll just forever be confused lol.
Haha, Dean had looked for Sam for a while, but Sam was back on earth the whole year, not telling Dean.. Not to blame Sam for that cause he didn't have a soul back then, they're both great characters, and great guys in real life too :d
Do you watch this show? I've heard so many people say this, and you know what? Dean is equally a dick to same in different situations, for example if you were to look from Sam's point of view, when he killed Amy, or the panic room?
Sam is not a dick, he just decided to move on! I guess it was hard for him but, he just found someone, fell in love with this person ... the road was hard and long but he thought that finally even if his brother was not by his side anymore he just could have a normal life... but after all he choose Dean instead of Amelia so ^_^" (excuse my very bad english)
I'm more upset he abandoned Kevin. He might not have been able to help Dean, but Kevin really needed him. And he ignored all those phone calls. He could have tried to help Kevin.
I'm sorry, if I came across as rude, but I'm just so done with people putting down Sam as a character :( Look at it from Sam's point of view though. Some of the things he did were for the better, and they have both equally done things like that. Remember when Sam shot Dean's daughter? That was a dick move of Sam.
Sam is a dick! His brother is fighting for his life and his answer is 'well i had no one to help me' Dean would never give up if he thought there was a chance. And when he found Sam souless and going off the rails, he helped. Love Jared!
No worries. I actually used to like Sam, but his behavior lately has put me off him. I understand to a point, but it's his lack of remorse now that annoys me. If I knew that Id left my sibling in a place like that, Id feel like shit and beg forgiveness, but he does't. He shrugs it off as he couldn't do anything and he had a life to lead. I hope his and Deans relationship gets back on track cause thats what the shows about, not chicks, lol
Okay, your entitled to your oppinion, but the whole do you watch the show is just rude and kind of stupid. Yes, Dean can be a dick, I'm not disputing that, but in this situation Dean is right. He was where they send the monsters hell doesnt want and Sam got on with his life. does he feel guilty about his choices, no! That's my problem. Also, you really want to use Amy, a demon who was killing people or the panic room he put Sam in when he was drinking demon blood as an example? really?
