Thank you :) The dimensions are indeed a tricky part. I'd advise finding reference pictures of the show, checking the actor's height and finding the proportion so you can make it the right size for you. I don't know by heart, but I believe it was 32cm by around 75cm (70-80, around that), including the arm.

@@fablefoxweaver that's alright lovely ❤️ I have made the frame of the body of the lute from cardboard and started on the arm/bridge? whaduyacallit. I literally only work on it when I get together and do craft days with my friend so it's slow going but I'm happy with my progress :)

Ahah, I don't know how to play it, but Cristina knows how to play the guitar and does a somewhat decent job of pretending she can. 😁

Oh, but it does produce sound. It's awful and out of tune XD. It was never meant to be functional so that was a surprise.

Thanks. That's a great compliment. Creating real instruments is a whole other science. From the materials to how they're put together, everything influences the sound. I just don't have the knowledge. But I'm really happy you believe I could do it 😁. Also, I like designing "weird" things. I have fun making new things I've never seen made before (like this backpack/lute or leather Roach). I don't see myself having fun building the same thing over and over. It's one thing I like about cosplay, every character and prop is so different and you can try to make it your way 😊. Really, thanks for your message
