Actually, bright but overcast days are often better for photography than bright sunshine, because the cloud acts like a scatter filter for the bright sunlight and means you don't have to worry about glare. On top of that, for a show like Poldark, which is set in Cornwall, an overcast day looks more fitting anyhow.
Bellissimo video devo dire aidan Turner sempre veramente affascinante ,più di molte delle attrici che lo affiancano , anche se possono essere simpatiche
I noticed that as well, but believe it or not if you look through a fashion magazine a lot of the models top of their head is cut off. I forget the name of the fashion photographer who is known for that, but his images are always on the covers of fashion mags. I've seen other pro photographers with trees or other objects common out of peoples heads, and it bothers me too.
I find interesting that a photographer of such a caliber would allow a tree grow out of the model's hair at 4:29, i want to believe that was on purpose, but why?
+ Marcelo Tezza The tree growing out of Aidan Turner's head is a distraction indeed, and as you said, it's hard to imagine the photographer'd make such a cardinal mistake but it must've been deliberate. Especially when he says in the beginning of the video that "you (aka a photographer) need an eye for detail". That's some big detail there, the tree! Is it supposed to be a metaphor for something, or simply just a joke? Other than that, the pictures look lovely, at least to someone like myself, who's not an expert in photography.
I do belive that the focus is behind the subject in the picture from 6:08. It's curious how come a photographer who's doing a cover works for the first time with a medium format. Are there any camera rent shops in UK? :|
He's shot with medium format Phase One cameras before. It was the first time using the new Phase One XF body and 100MP IQ3 back which were just out at the time.
If he was shooting digital why didn't he just up the ISO for the dimly lit room instead of having to use a 1/4 second shutter speed? I assumed the whole shoot was on digital.
800 ISO and not noisy? you can shoot 12.000 ISO and you still can't even notice any with this thing. This is my dream camera by the way, but i'll never be able to afford it.
2016 50K camera and a 50K budget for the photo shoot. 2019 10K camera (fuji) 1000 budget for the photo shoot 2021 You will be able to that with the new Samsung for 1000 all in all))
