I like how he changed the song. Usually, I prefer the original, esp. when I've heard this for years and got really used to the original. But he kept it slow and soft and the going up and down of the notes made me feel the sadness of the song :)
Just listened to Julie Covington & Reeba McKintyre singing this,now Jason Castro.Wow,this young guy has the most beautiful voice.What is he,like 20,21? He's gonna go a long way with that amazing voice! And,weirdly,this track is one that the Beatles just didn't suit,lol,& it was theirs,go figure.

That is the very reason they didn't like Taylor Hicks winning and would have gotten rid of him too if he hadn't had so many fans (soul patrol). They sure haven't done anything to promote him like they have all the other idol winners.

Not anymore. They took them off itunes after the finale, except for the Davids' music. I downloaded eight of Jason's songs and wish I had gotten more before they took them off. :(
You don't love the Beatles that much then. NO ONE can sing this like them. Not even in the same hemisphere. And I liked this very much. Go listen to John and Paul with your volume up. Then think again. And keep in mind the lack of technology way back then, and the simple and rawness of their recording.
Duh. I was indeed talking about the hair. I believe he has dreadlocks cause he thinks he looks cool and not because he's trying to be relevant to any cause other than his own. In case you were wondering, the only reason I stumbled upon this video is because I was looking for good covers of this song cause it's a great song. He did a pretty good job on it.
